══════════════ Progression Guide ═════════════

🛡️Getting Started — Establishing Your Foothold

Your first steps in Ark Descended set the tone for the entire journey. Your early focus is on taming Ordinary and Descended creatures, laying the foundation of your Passive Production farm, and preparing for your first major challenge: the Excellent Essence Boss (Excellent Dodo).

T1 : 🐾 Beginnings of Strength (Ordinary & Descended)

The humble beginning — your first steps into the world of Descension.

🌱 Foundation Tier

As you establish your first foothold, craft the Descend Smithy as soon as possible — it’s the cornerstone of Ark Descended’s entire progression system.

Use it to make Descended Tools (5× harvest rate) and the Tranq Pike, then spec into melee damage to improve knockout power.

For early gathering:

Miner Anky – 5× resource harvesting, auto-smelts metal.

Descended Pelagornis – best source of organic polymer early on.

Logger Castoroides – harvests tremendous amounts of wood.

🌾 Early Farming & Potion Prep

Get your crop plots running as soon as possible — veggies and kibble ingredients power much of your crafting later.

While you’re at it, stock up on Hunger Potions early — they’re incredibly useful throughout the game for forcing tames to eat faster, saving tons of time on knockouts and boss creatures alike.

Ordinary and Descended creatures make up your starting roster. They tame with vanilla foods and vanilla kibble, keeping your entry into the mod straightforward.

Ordinary vs. Descended

Ordinary dinos: 2× the stats of their normal forms, providing sturdier baseline tames for hunting and survivability.

Descended dinos: Vary in strength and utility — some weaker, some stronger — but each brings unique advantages that help bridge the path to higher tiers.

📌 Note: Certain creatures require special mechanics to tame. See the 🧩 Special Taming Mechanics section for details.

🏡 Passive Production

Start building your production farm as early as possible.

Begin collecting Descended Essence early — it’s a key resource you’ll need throughout progression. All Descended dinos passively produce Descended Essence, but some come with extra resources (📘 see Passive Production Reference).

Easy starter tames like the Descended Dodo and Bob (Descended Phiomia) are perfect first picks to get your essence production rolling.

📌 Note: All creatures in T1 (and most everything in T2) use vanilla saddles.

Equipping a shoulder pet is also recommended early on. Descended lightpets fit the bill here. Most of these companions grant a permanent 10% damage boost and 10% damage resistance — but this “Critter Bonus” buff applies only to your mount, not your survivor. The bonus scales across all tiers, making shoulder pets an invaluable support option throughout your progression.

Health Potions can be used both from your hotbar and directly inside your dino’s inventory — alternating between the two helps bypass potion cooldowns and provides continuous healing during long or high-damage fights.

🪽 Pro Tip:

A  Descended Griffin or Ordinary Snow Owl are great tames.

They’re extremely versatile — fast, maneuverable, and excellent for scouting, travel, and ranged engagements while you’re setting up your production base and preparing for Tier 2.

⚔️ First Boss Prep

The creatures you gather in T1 will form the core of your army for the Excellent Essence Boss — the first true progression gate. Building a strong team here ensures a smoother climb into the Excellent Path.

The Descended Phoenix is one of the strongest starter tames in the mod if you can get ahold of Extraordinary Kibble. It's especially useful against the Excellent Essence (Dodo) and beyond.

T2 : 🌟 The Excellent Path — From Dodo to Oracle

Power awakens — strength, resilience, and your first taste of evolution.

T2 |🐓 Excellent Essence Boss

The first gate in Tier 2 is the Excellent Essence Boss (Excellent Dodo) — your introduction to mid-tier combat and passive production.

When defeated, the Excellent Essence Boss will spawn in a tameable Excellent Dodo.

Tame it immediately (passive tame) — Excellent Dodos passively produce Excellent Essence and Rare Flowers, making them an invaluable addition to your production line.

Notable Rewards:

Excellent Essence — required for crafting Tier 2 and Tier 3 items.

Excellent Dodo — passive producer unlocked after the fight.

Excellent Chibi — grants +100 Stamina and +100 HP regenerated per second for your dino while equipped, a huge survivability boost for upcoming boss fights.

Excellent Flak Armor — a durable armor set providing excellent protection for Tier 2 exploration and combat.

T2 | ✨ Excellent Tier Dinos

Once able, breed and level Excellent creatures heavily. These are your main force for taking on the bosses ahead.

🪶 Note: With access to Excellent Kibble, you can now tame a Descended DodoWyvern — a powerful, mobile flier perfect for the T1 Loot Boss and Unreal Boss fights.

Once tamed, your DodoWyvern opens the path to new opportunities:

You can use it to safely tame a Descended Rock Drake, allowing you to obtain your very own Descended Reaper Prince or Princess — a major milestone toward expanding your late-game army.

🏗️ Unlocking the War Generator

Once you’ve defeated the Excellent Essence Boss and obtained your first batch of Excellent Essence, you can now craft the War Generator — one of the most important structures in Ark Descended.

The War Generator serves as your battle interface for nearly every future boss encounter. Keep your War Generator in a secure area, as it becomes your main summoning hub from Tier 3 onward. Many future crafting paths and challenges rely on its recipes and summon functions.

T2 | 🕷️🦍🐉 Combat Bosses — Spider, Gorilla & Dragon

The next challenge in T2 is the Combat Bosses — empowered versions of the vanilla Spider, Gorilla, and Dragon.

They can only be damaged by Ordinary, Descended, or Excellent dinos.

Excellent Boss works but does reduced damage.

Their damage scales with your tames’ HP, armor, and drag weight so stacking pure tank stats can actually make them hit harder.

Defeating any Combat Boss unlocks the Unreal tier.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy

Use a Therizinosaurus pack strategy to kill the Spider boss first. Three to four groups of six to eight Therizinos will be enough to overwhelm it through sustained damage and bleed.

Alternatively, a Charge-Adapted Reaper offers a safer solo strategy. Its ranged acid projectile allows it to damage the boss from a distance, while its energy shield blocks incoming poison and crowd damage — making it one of the most reliable counters to the Spider’s mechanics. Ensure you have a light pet active to take full advantage of its natural resistance and abilities.

🎁 Key Drops

Green Tribute (Spider)

Blue Tribute (Gorilla

Red Tribute (Dragon)

Combat Loot Box filled with Combat Essence (from all three bosses)

📌 These tributes and essences are required for summoning and crafting later-tier bosses.

Use the same strategy on the Gorilla and avoid the rock throw which has a 30 second cooldown. Circle back to Dragon after you’ve killed the Sin of Power. Any Unreal Excellent Boss is more than enough to finish the trio.

Note: With Combat Essence, you can now summon a Mek from the War Generator — defeat it to obtain its Mek Blueprint, unlocking future Tek progression options.

T2 | 💀 Unreal Tier — Harnessing the Power of Nightmares

Defeating any Combat Boss unlocks the Unreal Kibble opening up the Unreal Dinos, where creatures are empowered but cursed with the Unreal Debuff — a constant health drain. This effect is negated by Descended Milk, making it a vital resource for survival in this stage.

Unreal creatures are a major turning point in progression:

They passively produce Unreal Essence, an essential crafting resource for Excellent Boss Kibble and other things.

They also have the passive Unreal ability: if enemy attacks miss, they begin to regenerate health, making them very durable against large bosses or mobs with inaccurate hitboxes.

🛡️ Preparing for the Excellent Bosses

Once you’ve secured a strong Unreal tame, craft yourself Unreal Armor for them. This armor significantly increases their survivability while farming Lootbosses, Excellent Bosses, and other encounters that drop the Boss Orbs and materials you’ll need to craft Excellent Boss Kibble.

Also, you’ll need BioToxin for upcoming Excellent Tranq Arrows so find yourself a BioToxin Bug to tame.

📌 The Unreal Megalodon is among the most useful Unreal Dino not to mention it can swim and fly!

T2 | 👑 Excellent Bosses

Excellent Bosses are the next major hurdle in your progression. Common bosses to aim for initially are indoms and gigas. Unlike normal knockouts, they use the unique Torpid Activate system:

Can only take torpor once their health drops below 50%.

Every torpor hit triggers a Torpid Activate timer — you must reapply torpor before it expires, or the tame will rapidly lose all progress.

Once knocked out, you have a ~10 second window to place Excellent Boss Kibble in their inventory as well as use a Hunger Potion before they wake up.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy: Kite Excellent Bosses into deep water — it slows their movement, reduces melee pressure, and gives you room to safely apply torpor or reposition during the fight.

Noteable Rewards:

Defeating or taming Excellent Bosses grants Boss Orbs, a key ingredient in crafting more Excellent Boss Kibble and other advanced recipes.

These creatures become your backbone for tackling the Three Sins and beyond.

👻 Ghost Evolutions — Shadows of the Past

With your Excellent Bosses secured, you can now evolve select species into their Ghost variants — powerful spectral echoes of their former selves.

These forms serve as transitional evolutions before entering Divine and Devilish tiers, offering unique visuals and damage scaling bonuses.

Available Evolutions:

Ghost Dodorexy

Ghost Wyvern

Ghost Drake

Ghost Evolutions deal increased damage against the Oracle Boss, making them an excellent choice for revisiting and farming Oracle-related fights later in progression.

📌 Note: They lose their ability to apply torpor upon Ghost Evo.

T2 | ⚖️ The Three Sins Bosses

After taming your first Excellent Boss, you’ll gain access to the Three Sins. The Three Sins represent the next major challenge after defeating Combat Bosses. Each Sin escalates in difficulty and drops the armor upgrades needed to survive the next fight, and each unlocks new progression items.

T2 | 🩸 Sin of Unreal (First Sin)

Best tackled with an Excellent Boss (Giga is a strong option).

Since it’s an Unreal-tier fight, bringing Descended Milk will help mitigate debuff ticks.

Otherwise, this fight is fairly straightforward with a properly leveled Excellent Boss.

Reward: Defeating the Sin of Unreal unlocks the engram for Basic Excellent Boss Armor.

Crafting this armor is mandatory for progressing to the 2nd Sin (Sin of Power).

Ancient Token Clusters are also unlocked. You will need these, in abundance!

Next step will be:

🔥 Sin of Power — tougher mechanics, requires Basic and Advanced Excellent Boss Armor equipped to survive. This Excellent Boss Armor will propel your dino’s strength to that of it’s wild form.

⚔️ Preparing for the Sin of Power

To craft the advanced Excellent Boss Armor for your specific dino, you’ll need an Ancient Token Cluster, which requires defeating all 9 Ancients and receiving their respective tokens:

Bronto, Giga, Raptor, Stego, Wyvern, Carno, Quetz, Rex, and Trike

If not found in the wild, can be summoned via the War Generator.

At this point, you’ll also need to tackle the Gorilla Combat Boss for its Blue Tributes if you haven’t already. Use the same strategy here as you did the Spider Boss.

Craft your Basic Excellent Boss Armor and get to farming.

This armor is crafted in the Descend Smithy. Once transferred into your inventory, you’ll see it on your Cosmetic’s Tab. Drag the Armor to your dino’s costume slot.

Only after collecting these and crafting the Ancient Token Cluster can you make the advanced armor set and progress to the Sin of Power.

T2 | 🔥 Sin of Power (Second Sin)

The second of the Three Sins is a noticeable difficulty spike compared to the Sin of Unreal. Even with an Advanced Excellent Boss Armor, this fight is grueling and will test your sustain and damage output. Expect a longer battle and be ready to rotate healing items and buffs throughout.

Noteable Reward:

Unlocks the engram for the Enhanced Excellent Boss Cube.

Drops valuable resources such as Ancient Token Clusters and Unreal Essence, which are needed for crafting higher-tier gear and evolutions.

📌 Note: The Cube is consumed in your Excellent Boss’s inventory, permanently transforming it into an Unreal Excellent Boss. Once upgraded, everything fought up to this point (aside from Combat Bosses) becomes obsolete, as your Unreal Boss vastly outclasses earlier threats.

💥 Unreal Buff Effects

Grants a greatly increased passive dodge chance, letting your boss avoid many incoming attacks.

Each successful dodge triggers powerful regeneration, making the Unreal Excellent Boss extremely resilient in sustained fights.

This dodge-regen synergy is the core powerhouse of the Unreal stage, enabling you to take on challenges previously impossible.

T2 | ⚡ Sin of Element (Third Sin)

The final Sin is fought after upgrading your Excellent Boss with the Enhanced Excellent Boss Cube. With the Unreal buff active, this fight is generally less punishing than the Sin of Power, though you should still bring healing items and milk to cover any lingering debuff damage.

Rewards:

Drops Ancient Token Clusters, Element Sphere, and other boss materials.

Completing this fight finishes the Three Sins chain and unlocks access to the Oracle Boss.

Unlocks Ghost Cores, which can be applied to Lightning, Poison, or Flame variants of Wyverns, Drakes, and DodoRexys. These transform them into Ghost forms, granting a combined triple-element breath attack (fire, lightning, poison).

Three Sins Summary:

Sin of Unreal = Entry fight, unlocks Excellent Boss Armor.

Sin of Power = Unlocks the Enhanced Excellent Boss Cube, enabling Unreal Excellent Bosses.

Sin of Element = Unlocks Element Sphere and Ghost Cores, opening the path to Ghost elementals.

T2 | 🔮 The Oracle Boss

The Oracle is the capstone encounter of the Excellent Path, unlocked after defeating the Three Sins.

Summoning Process:

Craft and consume the Oracle Summon (in your inventory, not your dinos (doesn’t work in dino).

Kill enemies to build experience.

Once you reach 100,000 XP (check buffs), the Oracle Boss will spawn.

Fight Overview:

Primarily a tank-and-spank boss — sustained DPS while managing survivability.

At intervals, the Oracle will summon minions.

During this phase, the Oracle becomes immune to all damage.

Clear all minions to remove the shield and resume damaging the boss.

Tips:

Strong AoE Excellent Bosses (e.g., Giga, Indominus Rex, Ice Titan, ect) excel at wiping minions quickly.

Reward:

Drops Oracle Essence

Marks the end of the Excellent Boss progression chain.

Unlocks T3 kibble and access to higher-tier encounters beyond the Excellent Path.

Defeating the Oracle marks the end of T2 and unlocks T3.

T3: 😇😈Embrace the Divine, Fear the Devilish

Light and dark converge — choose your alignment and embrace true power.

With the Oracle Boss defeated, you now enter Tier 3, where Divine and Devilish creatures mark the beginning of a new power level. This tier significantly raises the difficulty, but it also broadens your progression paths.

At Tier 3, multiple progression paths and opportunities open up — and using any of them can and will help push you through T3 and beyond.

📦 Beta Supply Drops → five-wave loot runs for Ancient Token Cluster items & other resources.

📌 See: Supply Drops Section.

🦠 The Infected Line → Dimorph → Ptero → Infected Divine Argentavis.

📌 See: Infected Evolution Section.

🌟 Legendary Path → begins with Alpha Dodorexy and continues toward Alpha Trex Ascend.

📌 See: Legendary Path Section.

Each of these paths provides unique power spikes and resource access, making them valuable stepping stones toward Tier 4 bosses and beyond.

Additional Tier 3 Encounters

Artifact Boss → Drops Artifacts used in crafting and War Generator summons.

Ascended Poison Drake → A T4 battle, unlocked at T3. Drops a soul required for Evo.

Descended Mega Reaper → Summoned via War Generator; required for Reaper Evolution.

Wild Alpha DodoRexy → Has a chance to drop a Fertilized Legendary Dodo Egg, which hatches a Little DodoRex to passively produce Legendary Essence and T3 souls.

⚖️ Tier 3 — The Divine & Devilish Divide

Tier 3 passes quickly, but it’s a crucial turning point. Your main goal here is simple — farm Divine and Devilish Souls to begin crafting T3 Kibble and preparing for the Guardians.

Fun Fact: Divine and Devilish Bosses aren’t limited to summons — they can also appear as rare wild encounters in the world. Keep your eyes open while exploring…

There are multiple strategies for defeating these bosses, but both encounters can be safely handled from range using the Devilish Phoenix, whose sustained fire damage and flight mobility make it ideal for keeping distance while dealing heavy DPS.

👼 Divine Guardian

Drops Divine Essence

😈 Devilish Guardian

This boss drops Devilish Essence

Divine and Devilish Essence is used to tame your Alpha DodoRexy — a key midgame power jump and essential for later evolution path, and other recipes.

🎁 Rewards & Unlocks

Defeating both Guardians grants access to:

🛡️ Advanced Flak Armor — huge survivability boost.

Divine Armor & Devilish Armor respectively— powerful specialized sets enhancing your chosen path.

T3 |  🛡️ Divine & Devilish Armor

Defeating the Tier 3 Bosses grants access to two powerful armor sets:

Divine Armor → Enabled from the Divine Guardian.

Devilish Armor → Enabled from the Devilish Guardian.

These armor pieces can be equipped onto Divine and Devilish creatures, dramatically boosting their survivability:

⚔️ 100% Melee! Stronger defensive scaling against high-tier attacks.

🛡️ 200% Health! Enables Divine/Devilish creatures to withstand damage from wild Abyssals and Celestials.

✅ This armor is a key stepping stone — without it, T3 creatures won’t be able to damage T4 encounters.

T4: 🌌 Celestial & Abyssal Ascension

Where mortals meet the cosmos — defy gods, conquer the deep, and claim energy eternal.

Tier 4 marks a massive leap in power and complexity. With your Divine and Devilish creatures now equipped with their Tier 3 armor, you’re ready to challenge the heavens and the depths — harvesting the essence of gods themselves to craft Warfare Keys, Shields, and evolve your army toward divinity.

T4 | Celestial & Abyssal Hunts

Hunt wild Celestial and Abyssal creatures to collect Souls, Essences, and Hides — essential materials for boss summons and evolution crafting. These creatures are your first exposure to Tier 4’s divine resources and should be farmed before challenging the major bosses.

📌 Tip: Begin with mid-tier Celestials and Abyssals to safely gather materials before targeting elite versions.

At this time, you’ll be able to summon the Descended Degenerate Managarmr from the War Generator..

🧬 Degenerate Managarmr → Evolve your Descended Managarmr into the Degenerate Managarmr.

📌 See: Descended Managarmr Section.

T4 | Celestial & Abyssal Boss Encounters

Use the War Generator to summon and defeat seven Celestial Bosses and seven Abyssal Bosses.

Celestial Bosses → require Divine resources.

Abyssal Bosses → require Devilish resources.

Each Tier 4 Celestial or Abyssal Boss unlocks its respective Evo Core Engram upon defeat.

You can then craft Evo Cores using their respective Souls dropped from these fights and evolve your Excellent Boss-tier creatures into their powerful Celestial or Abyssal forms, marking a major leap in strength and survivability for Tier 4 combat.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy

Start with a Devilish Rex, Devilish Phoenix, or even an Unreal Excellent DodoReaper — all solid choices for early Tier 4 progression. Avoid deadly AOE attacks.

Use one of these tames to defeat a Celestial or Abyssal Boss that drops the Souls and materials required to evolve your own Excellent Boss into a Celestial or Abyssal variant, unlocking the next stage of your warfighter’s evolution.

These Tier 4 forms become your frontline Warfighters — an army being strong enough to face Element Bosses, though they’re not yet shielded. Celestial and Abyssal variants offer immense power scaling but remain vulnerable until their respective Shields are crafted.

📌 Abyssal Energy and Celestial Energy Farming: Spawn Abyssal Dodoreaper and Celestial Rock Drake for Abyssal / Celestial Energy. Both drop 1 Energy Box directly to your inventory plus 6–12 Boxes from their lootbags — far faster than world farming.

Each boss grants two core drops vital for progression:

🏆 Trophies – “The key to unlocking God Warfare.” Used for Warfare Key recipes and advanced summons.

🔮 Souls – Used in Evo Core recipes to evolve Excellent Bosses into Celestial / Abyssal variants, and also for crafting Warfare Keys.

📌 Tip: All of the T4 bosses drop Advanced Flak Armor. So take advantage of this and finish equipping yourself with max gear! This is also where you’ll start dropping Large XP Potion to really give you and your dinos a boost!

T4 | Element Bosses

Face the final Tier 4 challenges — the Celestial Element and Abyssal Element — both summoned through the War Generator. Gather your armies, or consider the strategy below.

⚔️ Standard Strategy — Abyssal and Celestial Army

See Recommended Strategy Below

The most reliable method for defeating the Element Bosses is assembling an army of Abyssal and Celestial creatures, each equipped with maxed saddles.

These tames balance durability and damage, making them ideal for surviving the bosses’ sweeping AoEs and elemental attacks.

Abyssal DodoReaper — the tankiest and most durable Havoc creature.

Abyssal Dinos — strong sustained DPS with excellent mobility and response time.

📌 Maxed saddles are absolutely critical for survival and success.

Saddle Quality & Caps (Critical for Tier 4 Survival)

For all strategies — whether using Abyssal/Celestial or your evolved lines — high end saddles are a single huge factor in whether your creatures survive Element Boss fights.

Most T4 saddles cap at 1,000 armor, but there are a few key exceptions:

Celestial Golem: Capped at ~660 armor.

Celestial Rock Drake: Standard saddle caps at 1,000, but its Tek Saddle reaches up to 1,200 armor.

Ancient Evo Giga: Also reaches 1,200 armor max, matching the Rock Drake’s Tek tier.

📌 Anything below adequate thresholds will dramatically increase risk of wipeouts during prolonged boss fights.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy

Prep your evolutions first (you can do this by now):

Ancient Line (Spino → Giga): Craft the Evo Core: Ancient Evo Spino with acquired resources.

Then defeat the Ancient Phantom for the Ancient Descended Gigant Soul + Celestial Gigant Trophies to evolve Spino → Ancient Evo Giga.

Next, defeat the T4 Celestial Gigant to unlock the Evo Core: Celestial Giga; use it on your Excellent Giga to make a Celestial Giga.

Place Ancient Evo Giga near Celestial Giga, open the Ancient’s inventory, and select “Sacrifice” to absorb the Celestial Giga—this evolves it into the Celestial Evo Giga (second only to its final form).

Infected Line: Craft the Evo Core: Infected Divine Argentavis with acquired resources.

To finish the line, defeat the Descended Infected Wyvern (War Generator) for the Infected Celestial Wyvern’s Soul + Trophies, then craft the Evo Core: Infected Argent to evolve it into an Infected Celestial Wyvern.

Targeted boss counters (while prepping):

Both the Descended Infected Wyvern and Ancient Phantom are vulnerable to Purified Evolved dinos.

Craft a Purified Celestial Rock Drake or Purified Giga Evo Core and use one to counter them.

Wyvern tip: Force it into a small area so it stays on you.

Phantom tip: Avoid the deadly “bubble” AOE—back out the moment you see it begin.

Element Boss kills:

Ancient Evo Giga (Melee Option)

Standard boss-fight approach: circle the boss and avoid its AoE attacks as necessary.

When you see “Run Coward,” Run! 🙂

Maintain awareness of the boss’s attack tells—especially shockwave or explosion patterns.

Equip a max or near-max saddle (ideally 1,250 armor).

Ideal for players confident in close-range control and sustain management.

Infected Celestial Wyvern (Ranged Option)

Trap the Element boss by any means (pillars, terrain, or indestructible prefab trap).

Use your Infected Celestial Wyvern:

Bomb from range with the Blast ability to chunk HP safely.

While Blast is on cooldown, weave in fire breaths.

Expect 2–3 Blast cycles to finish an Element boss when properly trapped.

Sustain & healing:

Potion management is critical. Alternate health potions on your hotbar and inside your dino’s inventory to overlap cooldowns and maintain uptime.

With these evolutions secured and tactics applied, the Element Bosses fall quickly—granting Celestial/Abyssal Shield engrams and Element Essences so you can forge the Shields in the Descend Smithy and move into Tier 5.

Without them, survival in Tier 5 is impossible — the Shields are mandatory for damaging and resisting the confrontations ahead.

T5: 🌌 Warchiefs & Havoc/Spectral Prog

The rise of legends — forge your dynasty and command the battlefield.

Tier 5 marks the entry into the Warchief Trials and the path toward Havoc and Spectral evolution. This tier combines the challenge of taming special Scions with the crafting of the Descended Reactor Orb, unlocking the ability to spawn and tame wild Havoc and Spectral creatures.

With Tier 4 complete and the Celestial and Abyssal Elements defeated, you now enter Tier 5 — where the Warchief Trials begin, leading into Havoc and Spectral evolution. This tier marks the dawn of true endgame power, combining brutal boss challenges with key evolution unlocks that set the stage for everything that follows.

At Tier 5, multiple progression paths and evolutions open up — and mastering each will carry you through the late game and beyond.

Degenerate Ice Titan → Evolve your Descended Ice Titan into the Degenerate Ice Titan, and by the end of T5, imbue with the power of Flame or Lightning the for unparalleled siege and AOE capability.

📌 See: Descended Ice Titan Section.

Deeply Degenerate Managarmr → Craft the Evo Core to evolve your Degenerate Managarmr into its Deeply Degenerate form — a high-speed, burst-damage flier perfect for late T5 combat and farming.

📌 See: Descended Managarmr Section.

Alpha Supply Drops → Unlock Alpha-tier loot runs for rare crafting resources and materials.

📌 See: Supply Drops Section.

Alpha DodoRexy Evolution → Advance your Alpha DodoRexy into the Alpha T-Rex using Order and Chaos Warchief Souls.

📌 See: Legendary Dodorexy Section.

Each of these paths provides unique power spikes and resource loops, making them key to your ascent.

✨ Eternal Light Armor

Defeating Tier 5 bosses unlocks the Eternal Light Armor set for your survivor.

👤 Replaces Advanced Flak Armor (first obtained at T3 bosses).

🛡️ Provides significantly higher protection against T5-level threats.

🌟 Grants powerful passive bonuses, making your character more durable and sustainable in battle.

⚔️ A mandatory upgrade for players to survive Guardian encounters and higher tiers.

T5 | 🧩 The Warchiefs of Order and Chaos

With your Celestial and Abyssal Shields from Tier 4 equipped, you’re finally ready to face the Tier 5 Warchiefs. These shields are mandatory — without them, you cannot survive or damage the Warchiefs effectively.

Your Tier 4 warfighters (Celestial & Abyssal variants of Excellent Bosses) will form the backbone of your army.

An Alpha Tyrannosaurus serves as a powerful alternative for taking on the Warchiefs.

Each provides massive damage output, sustain, and utility, capable of holding their own against T5 encounters.

⚠️ Note: The Ancient Evo Giga cannot be used against Warchiefs — it receives a unique debuff that causes it to “cower in fear,” preventing it from dealing any damage.

💀 Alternative Paths – The Primordial Reaper & Alpha Tyrannosaurus

Once the Element Bosses are defeated, two powerful evolution routes open for endgame progression.

Primordial Reaper Evolution

Evolve your Alpha King or Alpha Queen Reaper into the Primordial Reaper, one of the strongest tanks available up to this stage.

This evolution creates a devastating frontline powerhouse capable of enduring even the most punishing damage from all Warchiefs and higher-tier encounters.

Alpha Tyrannosaurus Evolution

Alternatively, evolve your Alpha DodoRexy into the Alpha Tyrannosaurus, a ferocious powerhouse designed for pure destructive output.

While less defensive than the Primordial Reaper, the Tyrannosaurus excels in raw boss DPS and can obliterate high-tier threats with overwhelming firepower.

📌 Choose your path based on playstyle — the Primordial Reaper dominates through resilience and sustain, while the Alpha Tyrannosaurus embodies relentless offense and raid-level damage potential.

⚠️ Warchief Battle Tips

Warchief encounters are unforgiving — each boss features powerful AOE attacks that can easily wipe unprepared survivors and tames.

Avoid all AOE warnings that display “Dangerous Attack Incoming.” These signal large-radius abilities capable of deleting even tanky dinos.

Maintain distance as required and apply movement discipline to minimize unnecessary damage.

Potion management is critical — alternate health potions on your hotbar and within your dino’s inventory to overlap cooldowns and sustain through prolonged fights.

With proper positioning, patience, and resource timing, even the mightiest Warchiefs can be defeated and tamed for your ranks.

T5 | ⚔️ The Order Warchiefs

Summoned via the War Generator → Order tab, each of the three Order Warchiefs features a unique taming method that revolves around its Scion form.

T5 | 🦍 Eternal Warrior

Unique Drop: Challenger’s Eternal Banana (auto-added to inventory).

Scion Spawn: Scion of Eternal Warrior spawns on death.

Taming Method:

Consume the Challenger’s Eternal Banana before engaging the Scion.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Eternal Warrior

Rare Reward: Eternal Sword

Abilities (PC Controls):

Right Click – Rock throw + lightning sphere barrage

 C – Melee-ranged lightning AoE

 Ctrl – 30 s Eternal King Kong power-up

⚠️ Taming Tip:

At low health thresholds, avoid DoT-heavy attacks — they can easily finish the Scion before the tame registers. Controlled DPS ensures a successful capture.

T5 | ⚡ Charger, The Tiger Emporer

Scion Spawn: Scion of Tiger Emperor spawns after death.

Taming Method:

Craft Kitty Teaser (Descend Smithy).

Place on hotbar → passively feed to Scion → instant tame.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Tiger Emperor

Abilities (PC Controls):

Right Click – Conal light attack (stronger under Emperor Buff)

C – Light AoE under buff / Conal light attack unbuffed

 Ctrl – 60 s Emperor power-up

T5 | 🔥 Lin, Annihilation Tyrant (Among the most difficult)

Unique Drop: Annihilation Tyrant Crown (added to inventory).

Taming Method:

Kill the Tyrant.

Craft Summon Tamed Scion of Annihilation Tyrant at Descend Smithy using the Crown.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Annihilation Tyrant

Rare Reward: Tyrant Shotgun

Mode Mechanics:

The Tyrant cycles between two modes:

Beta Mode (Lightning): Weaker damage + defense; AoE radius wider; Rage +2 % per attack.

Alpha Mode (Flame): Stronger damage + defense; Rage +4 % per attack; forced exit on stamina depletion.

Rage Meter Effects:

Higher rage = increased attack speed, knockback, and elemental trigger chance.

Elemental Effects:

Lightning mode spawns lightning strikes; Flame mode erupts fire pillars.

T5 | ☠️ The Chaos Warchiefs

Summoned via the War Generator → Chaos tab, the three Chaos Warchiefs feature unique taming or crafting paths to their Scions.

T5 | 🌙 Sariel, The Dying Light

Unique Drop: Challenger’s Dying Feather (added to inventory).

Scion Spawn: Scion of Dying Light spawns on death.

Taming Method:

Consume the Challenger’s Dying Feather before engaging the Scion.

The message “Challenge accepted” confirms the Scion is tameable.

Kill the Scion → auto-tames at 10 % HP.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Dying Light

Rare Reward: Dying Rifle

⚠️ Taming Tip:

At low health thresholds, avoid DoT-heavy attacks — they can easily finish the Scion before the tame registers. Controlled DPS ensures a successful capture.

T5 | 🐉 Nidhogg, The Galaxy Warchief (The Strongest Warchief)

Preparation: Craft Galaxy Dragon Tribute (Descend Smithy).

Scion Spawn: Scion of Galaxy Dragon spawns on death.

Taming Method:

Defeat the Galaxy Dragon → Scion spawns.

Bring it to ~20 % HP → lands → passively feed Tribute to tame.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Galaxy Dragon

Additional Drops include:

Bionic Essence

Unique Drop: Ultimate Skull (auto-added to inventory).

Taming Method:

Defeat Ultimasaurus.

Craft Summon Tamed Scion of Ultimasaurus at Descend Smithy using the Skull.

Consume to summon your tamed Scion.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Ultimasaurus

T5 |  Havoc & Spectral Ascension

T5 | ⚡ Descended Reactor Core (Orb)

The Descended Reactor Core is a crucial Tier 5 progression item crafted in the Descended Smithy after obtaining souls from both the Order and Chaos Warchiefs.

It marks the transition point into the Havoc and Spectral tiers, unlocking new creature spawns and tame opportunities. Go forth and defeat Havoc and Spectrals for their respective resources, Havoc Orb and Spectral Element.

🔹 How It Works

Activation:

Place the Reactor Core in your mount’s inventory and activate it.

This applies a persistent world buff that enables Havoc and Spectral spawns whenever you kill qualifying Celestial or Abyssal creatures.

Duration & Persistence:

The buff lasts indefinitely — it does not expire with time.

However, if you cryo the dino, the effect is lost and must be reactivated on another creature (after cooldown).

Cooldown:

After activation, the Core enters a 600-second reuse cooldown, meaning you can’t trigger another activation on that specific dino until that timer ends — but the active buff remains unaffected.

T5 |  🌪️ Havoc & Spectral Resource Farming

With the Reactor Core active, it’s time to begin farming Havoc and Spectral creatures for their valuable resources. Use a crafted tool to harvest:

Havoc Orbs → used for crafting Havoc Kibble and advanced late-game evolution cores.

Spectral Elements → required for Spectral Kibble, ascension unlocks, and crafting end-tier blueprints.

At this stage, you’ll also have access to the Descended Warchief Reactor, crafted in the Descended Smithy using Warchief Souls, Havoc Orbs, and Spectral Elements. Consuming the reactor in your Warchief grants it the “Invincible” monicker, dramatically boosting its defensive capabilities.

📌 Start clearing Havoc and Spectral zones regularly — these resources form the backbone of Tier 6 progression and unlock new evolutions like the Deeply Degenerate Managarmr.

T5 | 🌿 The Special Warchief — The Swamp Master

If you haven’t already defeated the Combat Dragon, now is the time — you’ll need Red Tributes for crafting Havoc Kibble. Go back and defeat it using one of your Unreal Excellent Bosses for a quick and decisive win.

💠 Kibble Crafting Notes

Havoc Orbs → Used for crafting Havoc Kibble.

Spectral Element → Used for crafting Spectral Kibble.

Swamp Master is a unique Tier 5 encounter found under the War Generator → Special tab. Like other Warchiefs, it can be defeated or tamed via its Scion form.

Taming Method:

Defeat the Swamp Master → its Scion spawns automatically.

Knock out the Scion (Descended Fabricated Sniper or Advanced Tranq Pike recommended).

Feed Spectral or Havoc Kibble to tame.

✅ Result: Gain the Scion of Swamp Master, a versatile T5 powerhouse.

Abilities (PC Controls):

Right Click – Frontal web attack

 C – Ranged orb attack

X – Cycle ranged attack when Poison is enabled

 Ctrl – Swamp Master Power-Up

Radial Menu Option: Enable/disable Poison Attack.

When enabled, the ranged attack applies devastating torpor damage — even to end-game creatures.

T5 | 🔱 Havoc & Spectral Taming & Progression

Havoc Progression → Ultimate Form

💀 KO Recommendation: The Swamp Master Warchief is the most effective method for knocking out Havoc and Spectral creatures — its poison-based ranged attacks deliver high torpor safely from range, making it the ideal tame for capturing these powerful beings.

📛 Warning: Even with a max-quality saddle, Havoc and Spectral creatures remain extremely vulnerable until they reach their Ultimate Form — their defenses and scaling are drastically lower before full progression, so avoid head on confrontations or large swarms until they’ve evolved.

Havoc creatures require Havoc Progression to reach their Ultimate form.

How it works:

Kill wild Celestial and Abyssal creatures for max progression.

Boss type creatures won’t count.

The higher the target’s max HP, the more progression value you gain.

The higher your Havoc’s own max HP, the more progression value is required to reach 100%.

See Havoc Progression bar on screen

Result:

At 100% Havoc Progression, the Havoc evolves into its Ultimate form, massively boosting damage, defense, and scaling.

Gains a new Ultimate Attack unique to its species.

Becomes an almost unstoppable wall with 90% damage reduction.

📌 Advice: Get a mating pair first. Breed Havocs, then do progression with the offspring to avoid losing your originals.

Spectral Progression → Ultimate Form

Spectral creatures follow a simpler progression path.

How it works:

To evolve your Spectral, you must hunt 10 wild creatures of the same Spectral type matching your own.

See Spectral Progression bar on screen

Result:

The Spectral becomes an Ultimate variant, gaining significantly stronger stats and scaling.

Gains formidable durability with 85% damage reduction.

📌 Advice: Like Havocs, secure a mating pair early. Do progression with bred offspring to preserve your original pair.

T5 | ✨ Havoc & Spectral Armor Scaling

Havoc and Spectral creatures differ from standard lines due to their natural armor system. Instead of saddles (for most), they rely on upgradeable armor that scales with special drops:

Armor Stones:

Killing wild Havocs or Spectrals that use natural armor yields Armor Stones.

Each stone fed to a tamed Spectral/Havoc increases its natural armor by +50, up to a maximum of 800 armor.

Saddle Users:

Havocs and Spectrals that use saddles instead of natural armor do not drop Armor Stones.

Instead, they drop blueprints for their saddles, which must be crafted and equipped normally.

Exception: The Havoc Dodoreaper caps at 500 armor

📌 This mechanic ensures that whether your tame is armor-stone based or saddle-based, you always have a path to scaling their defenses into late-game content.

👉 With Tier 5, you bridge the gap into Havoc and Spectral, harnessing Scions, Reactor Orb buffs, and Warchief trials to prepare for the ultimate endgame.

T6: ⚙️ The Bionic Line

Metal meets might — upgrade your biology with raw machine power.

Tier 6 introduces the Bionic Bosses — cybernetic juggernauts that bridge the gap between biological evolution and machine perfection. Unlike earlier tiers that revolve around Scions or Evo Cores, the Bionic path is powered by harvesting Essences and Souls to forge your own mechanical apex predators.

🔩 Bionic Bosses

Each Bionic Boss you defeat drops two key resources:

Bionic Essence → a general material used for crafting and upgrades.

Bionic [Boss] Essence → a unique essence specific to the Bionic creature defeated (e.g., Bionic Giga Essence, Bionic Quetzal Essence).

Both are required for crafting or evolving their corresponding tamed versions.

Additional Drops:

💀 Bionic Souls

🦾 Tek Suits and Components

🏭 The Bionic Factory

All Bionic Essences are refined and processed inside the Bionic Factory, a specialized crafting station designed for mechanical assembly and evolution.

How it Works:

Insert the Bionic Boss Essence of the creature you want to create.

Add approximately 1,000 Descended Ingots to power the build process.

Start the crafting process — every 10% completion, you’ll need to manually click the Factory to continue.

Each step consumes a portion of the ingots.

Total time to completion is approx 20-30 min

Once complete, the Factory produces a tamed Bionic version of that Boss, retaining its raw destructive potential in a controllable form.

Example:

Defeating a Bionic Quetzal yields Bionic Quetzal Essence. Combine it with Descended Ingots in the Factory to construct a tamed Bionic Quetzal, boasting flight stability and enhanced scaling across health and defense.

🛡️ Role of Tier 6

Tier 6 acts as the bridge between the Warchiefs (T5) and the Wardens (T7).

Bionics function as mechanical siege engines, providing durability and firepower for high-tier encounters.

However, your Havoc and Spectral creatures remain invaluable, especially for farming Tier 6 Bosses efficiently and gathering Souls for later recipes.

Farming these bosses forms a core progression loop, feeding directly into Tier 7 blueprints and crafting trees.

📌 Tip: Tier 7 recipes and beyond depend on Tier 6 resources — keep your Havoc and Spectral farms active to avoid progression bottlenecks.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy:

Use your Alpha T-Rex — after receiving the Legendary Raid boost — for optimal efficiency and safety.

Its post-Raid power spikes allow it to obliterate Bionic Bosses with ease while withstanding their heavy projectile and AoE barrages.

The boosted Alpha T-Rex is currently the best-in-class counter for sustained Bionic farming runs.

T7: 🦖 Warden Trials

Guardians of ascension await — test your courage against the divine protectors.

With the Warchiefs and Elemental Gods behind you, Tier 7 marks your entry into the Warden Trials, a proving ground of strength, endurance, and evolution.

By the end of T7, two of your mightiest allies can transcend their former limits:

💀 Primordial Reaper → Warden Reaper

After surviving the trials of Tier 5 and beyond, your Primordial Reaper can evolve once more into the Warden Reaper, a tank of near-immortal fortitude imbued with Warden energy.

🌌 Celestial Evo Giga → Warden Giga

Having mastered the Celestial form of the Ancient line, your Celestial Evo Giga can now evolve into the Warden Giga, a fusion of celestial and ancient essence that stands among the most powerful beings in Ark Descended.

These evolutions require specific Warden Essences and Legacy items, obtained through the Warden Trials themselves.

Craft and summon the Ascended Little Dodos & Descended Little Dodos in the War Generator to spawn their Wardens (sometimes appear in the wild). Defeating them grants Warden Essences, used to craft the Supreme Wardens.

Ascended Wardens:

Rex → Wipe attack + bind mechanic.

Rewards: Ascended Warden Essence, Evo Core for Devilish Rex.

Spino → Heavy brawler.

Rewards: Ascended Warden Essence, Evo Core for Divine Spino.

Descended Wardens:

Thorny Dragon → Tank-and-spank.

Rewards: Descended Warden Essence, Evo Core for Divine Lizard (Thorny Dragon).

Therizino → High melee shred.

Rewards: Descended Warden Essence, Evo Core for Devilish Therizino.

📌 Tips:

Use Ultimate Spectrals/Havocs for mobility.

Avoid Dangerous Attacks Incoming!

Bring Descended Milk to reduce the tick damage from their special attacks.

T7 | 🎁 Warden Chibis

Warden Chibis are special companion pets earned from Warden-related content in Tier 7 and beyond. Each type grants a powerful passive bonus when equipped:

🛡️ Ascended Warden Chibi → Grants +15% Defense

⚔️ Descended Warden Chibi → Grants +15% Damage

📌 Tip: These bonuses stack with your gear and dino stats, making them extremely valuable in both Supreme Warden fights and later Tier 8+ challenges.

T7 | 🦖 Supreme Warden Encounters

Preparation:

Before engaging, make sure you are fully prepared:

🐉 Bring your strongest tames (Ultimate Spectrals, Havocs, or equivalent).

🥛 Stock up on Descended Milk — it helps reduce the tick damage caused by their special attacks.

🧪 Carry plenty of potions for emergency recovery.

T7 | 💀 Supreme Warden Reaper

Overview:

The Supreme Warden Reaper is a relentless foe with a punishing second phase.

Mechanics:

Phase Revive:

At 0 HP, the Reaper revives powered up.

Gains increased damage output and a much larger shield.

The second phase is far deadlier — conserve resources until then.

Notable Rewards:

🧩 Ascended Warden Essence

🏆 Supreme Warden Reaper Trophy

Unlocks Supreme Warden Armor Engrams

Unlocks Warden Reaper Legacy (Primordial Reaper Evo)

Warden Reaper Intensify Core (Boosts your Warden Reaper)

T7 | 🦖 Supreme Warden Giga

Overview:

The Supreme Warden Giga is brute force made flesh, smashing through anything that stands still.

Mechanics:

Knockback Slam:

A massive hit that launches survivors and tames out of the fight.

Counterplay: avoid direct engagement and reposition quickly.

Notable Rewards:

🧩 Descended Warden Essence

🏆 Supreme Warden Giga Trophy

Unlocks Supreme Warden Armor Engrams

Unlocks Warden Giga Legacy (Ancient Evo Giga Evo)

Warden Giga Intensify Core (Boosts your Warden Giga)

T7 | Supreme Warden Recommended Strategy

The Supreme Warden Giga is the strongest opponent up to this point. Its raw force and constant area pressure make a head-on approach nearly impossible.

Instead, defeat the Supreme Warden Reaper first, and use the rewards to evolve your own Primordial Reaper into a Warden Reaper.

Then, use your Warden Reaper to battle the Supreme Warden Giga — but trap it strategically:

📌 Trap Tip:

Use indestructible structures or environmental terrain to block its knockback arcs while leaving openings wide enough to continue attacking safely.

This positioning allows you to neutralize its greatest threat — the devastating slam — and steadily wear down its immense HP pool.

📌 Tip: Both Supreme Wardens are designed to punish tanking. Victory requires mobility, proper timing, and use of Descended Milk to counter their tick damage attacks.

T8: 🕊️ God Trials

Witness ascension and descension collide — challenge the gods themselves.

At Tier 8, multiple ascension and evolution paths open up — each unlocking the power needed to survive the God Trials and forge your ultimate destiny.

💀 Warden Reaper → Supreme Warden Reaper

Evolve your Warden Reaper into its Supreme form to gain unmatched durability, devastating melee scaling, and rapid regeneration.

📌 See: Warden Reaper Section.

🌌 Warden Giga → Supreme Warden Giga

Evolve your Warden Giga into the Supreme Warden Giga — the pinnacle of raw strength and destruction, capable of tanking even god-tier attacks.

📌 See: Warden Giga Section.

🦖 Alpha T-Rex → Supreme Alpha T-Rex

Channel divine energy to ascend your Alpha T-Rex into its Supreme variant, unlocking unparalleled burst damage and AoE roar scaling.

📌 See: Legendary T-Rex Section.

To defeat the Tier 8 Gods (Dream, Ascension God / Empty, Descension God), you must have the correct Warchief of the opposite path within the boss’s scan radius.

Ascension God (Dream): Requires a Chaos Warchief nearby.

Descension God (Empty): Requires an Order Warchief nearby.

T8 | Ascension/Descension Boss Mechanics

Scan Phase: When the God spawns, it scans your Warchief.

Round 1: Summons 1 minion clone of your Warchief (functions like a T5 boss, but much stronger).

Killing the clone deals damage directly to the God.

Round 2: Scans again → summons 2 clones.

Round 3: Scans again → summons 3 clones.

Completion: Once all clones are defeated, the God itself is slain.

Rewards

✨ Soul of the Ascension God (Dream)

🌑 Soul of the Descension God (Empty)

📌 Player Tips:

Use your strongest tames — the minion clones are much tougher than standard T5 bosses.

Focus entirely on the clones, not the God. Staying away from the main boss while your Warchief remains just within range ensures the trial continues safely.

Do not level up your Warchief before fighting the T8 Boss (Dream or Empty).

When the T8 God scans your Warchief before summoning its clones, it bases the clones’ power directly on your Warchief’s current level and stats. Clones also scale in strength based on:

The number of Warchiefs you’ve scanned (the more scanned, the tougher they become).

Whether your Warchief has been boosted by the Warchief Reactor — that power carries over to the clones as well.

If your Warchief is over-leveled, the God’s clones will be significantly stronger, making the fight exponentially harder.

💡 Best Practice:

Keep your Warchief un-leveled until after you’ve defeated the T8 Boss, then invest all points and progress normally once the evolution path unlocks.

🧠 Recommended Strategy — God Trials

💡 Best Practice Flow: Start with the Tiger Emperor, keep your Scion safe. Close enough to be cloned but far enough away not to take aggro.

1️⃣ Choose Your Scion:

Begin with the Tiger Emperor or Dying Light as your Scion.

2️⃣ First Trial — All Three Waves:

Use your Warden Reaper or Warden Giga to defeat all three clone waves while keeping maximum distance from both:

The T8 Boss (Dream or Empty) — because proximity-based damage scales higher the closer you are.

Your Scion — keep as far as possible to prevent it from taking collateral damage.

3️⃣ Post-Victory — The Descent:

After defeating your first God Trial, Descend your Tiger Emperor or Ascend your Dying Light.

Use the newly acquired Descended/Ascended Warchief Essence to evolve your Warden Reaper/Giga into its Supreme Warden Reaper/Giga form — their ultimate, perfected state.

4️⃣ Subsequent Battles:

Now that your Supreme Warden Reaper/Giga has awakened, it becomes the go-to powerhouse for all remaining battles between both Gods — shredding their clone waves and safely outpacing their damage scaling.

The Tyrant Spino is the deadliest due to its DoT and knockback, followed by the Galaxy Warchief’s burst-heavy AoEs.

💡 Tip:

Equip an Ascended Chibi for a 15% damage resistance boost — it greatly improves survivability against these punishing bosses.

T8 | 🔺 Ascend / Descend Your Warchief

Once you’ve defeated the Wardens and collected their essences, you can now Ascend or Descend your Warchief. This requires sacrificing the appropriate Warden or Bionic to fuel the evolution. Your Warchief will have acquired a buff after the boss fight. Do not cryo or you’ll lose the buff.

T8 | 🛡️ Evolving a Warden

Defeating each Warden Boss — Warden Rex, Warden Spino, Warden Thorny Dragon, and Warden Therizino — unlocks its corresponding Warden Evolution Core.

Once unlocked:

1️⃣ Craft the appropriate Evo Core in your Descended Smithy or equivalent high-tier crafting station.

2️⃣ Feed the Core to the matching Devilish or Divine creature to trigger the Warden evolution.

Each transformation will evolve your chosen creature into its Warden form, granting massive stat multipliers, new resistances, and unique abilities tied to its faction (Order or Chaos).

T8 |  Warchief Ascension/Descension

From this point forward, potions will no longer heal your creatures.

Tier 8 marks a shift into divine and transcendent power where traditional restoration methods fail.

Your only reliable healing method will come from the Ascended or Descended Warchief Essences — obtained directly through evolution.

Ascension Warchiefs

Dying Light → requires Warden Rex

Galaxy → requires Warden Spino

Ultimate Carcha → requires Bionic Giga

Descension Warchiefs

Eternal Warrior → requires Warden Therizino

Tiger Emperor → requires Warden Thorny Dragon

Tyrant Spino → requires Bionic Giga

T8 |  Ascended & Descended Warchief Essences

Every time you Ascend or Descend a Warchief, you automatically receive one corresponding Warchief Essence:

Ascended Warchief Essence for Ascended evolutions

Descended Warchief Essence for Descended evolutions

These are permanent crafting materials used in high-tier evolutions.

They are not consumed when used for crafting — except during a final boss evolution.

❤️ Essence Healing Effect

Your Essence isn’t just a crafting tool — it’s also your lifeline:

Place the Ascended or Descended Essence in your hotbar or your creature’s inventory.

Use it to instantly heal 80% HP and Stamina of your creature.

⚠️ Healing is alignment-restricted:

Ascended Essence only heals Ascended creatures.

Descended Essence only heals Descended creatures.

This ability replaces all potion-based healing for T8 and beyond, ensuring that only divine energy can sustain these evolved beings.

⚠️ Important — Leveling & Clone Scaling

Ascension is based on your Warchief’s total level, not its individual stats.

Be sure to spend all unassigned skill points before ascending — this maximizes your total level (e.g., hitting level 313 or higher).

T9: 💀Dark Seal Trials

Endgame unleashed — face darkness, oblivion, and desperation itself.

Tier 9 introduces the Dark Seal challenges, a three-part sequence of boss fights that must be cleared before crafting the Dark Altar Summon Cube.

Each Seal grants a unique fragment, and any two fragments can be combined to craft the Cube.

These Seals test every combat style — raw damage, precision, and adaptability — leading into the final God-Beast ritual.

T9 |  🔱 The Three Seals

T9 |  🔥 Dubhe, Seal of Blaze

Battle Type: Tank ’n Spank

Straightforward fight focused on sustained damage and survivability.

Minimal mechanics — just manage health and positioning.

Reward: Blaze Fragment

T9 |  🌑 DiTsugo, Seal of Void

Battle Type: Shield Phase Mechanic

The boss periodically raises a shield, becoming immobile but invulnerable.

As soon as you see Void Aura, put some distance between you and the boss to avoid being sucked in.

To break it, you must manually destroy the shield with a weapon.

Recommended: Tyrant Shotgun or similar high-burst firearm.

If you can’t fire safely from a mount (such as Descended Tiger Emporer), dismount at range, shoot the shield, then remount quickly — the Void Seal will charge immediately once its shield drops.

Reward: Void Fragment

T9 |  🌪️ Nephus, Seal of Air

Battle Type: Aerial Engagement

Starts high in the sky and will not initiate combat until damaged.

Use a mount with jump or ranged attacks.

Once engaged, the fight is straightforward but includes a bleed attack — be ready to heal and bring milk to sustain through it.

Reward: Air Fragment

⚔️ Recommended Strategy: Use your Supreme Warden Reaper for all three Seals — its durability, mobility, and regeneration make it ideal for tanking Blaze, breaking Void shields between bursts, and leaping to engage Nephus midair.

Otherwise, use your strongest T8 Ascended or Descended dinos. Descended Milk and potions are invaluable for mitigating bleed and burn ticks.

🧩 Crafting the Dark Altar Summon Cube

After obtaining any two Seal Fragments, craft the Dark Altar Summon Cube in the Descended War Generator.

Use it to begin the Dark Seal Ritual, summoning one of the T9 God Beasts (Beast of Darkness, Oblivion, or Desperation).

Full ritual details continue in the “Dark Seal Trials — Summoning the Beasts” section.

T9 |  The Beasts

The Tier 9 Beasts — Beast of Darkness, Beast of Oblivion, and Beast of Desperation — are the ultimate endgame challenges in Ark Descended.

These god-tier encounters demand full preparation, precise sacrifices, and can only be completed at night through the Dark Altar Ritual. Defeating or taming these Beasts yields the three of the four Fragments required to summon the Final Boss.

T9 | 🔹 Priming the Dark Altar

Before summoning, you must prime your Dark Altar by loading a Dark Altar Summon Cube and performing seven sequential sacrifices.

Perform 7 Dino Sacrifices at the altar in this order:

 1️⃣ Excellent Dino

 2️⃣ Unreal Dino

 3️⃣ Divine Dino

 4️⃣ Devilish Dino

 5️⃣ Abyssal Dino

 6️⃣ Celestial Dino

 7️⃣ Bionic Dino

Once all sacrifices are complete, place the appropriate Warchief nearby to begin the ritual:

Dying Light → summons 🕯 Beast of Darkness

Eternal Gorilla → summons ☯️ Beast of Oblivion

Galaxy Warchief → summons ⚡ Beast of Desperation

📌 Important:

All sacrifices and summoning must occur at night.

The altar must remain within your view during the ritual or it can fail.

T9 | ⚔️ The Battle for Beasts

Bring your strongest Tier 8 creature — the Supreme Warden Reaper remains a top-tier choice for all three Beasts, offering the perfect balance of damage, sustain, and survivability needed for these god-tier encounters.

You can choose to tame or defeat the Beast:

To Tame:

Consume a Challenger’s Feather (Dying Light) or Challenger’s Eternal Banana (Eternal Gorilla) before engaging.

Fight the Beast until it reaches ~10 HP — it will auto-tame once the threshold is met.

To Defeat:

Engage directly in combat and bring overwhelming DPS to outpace its healing.

These Beasts behave like Tier 9 super-Warchiefs, featuring enormous health pools, regeneration bursts, and punishing area attacks.

T9 | 🕯 Beast of Darkness

Summoned By: Dying Light

Taming Method: Consume a Challenger’s Feather before the fight; the Beast auto-tames at 10% HP.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy:

The Beast of Darkness performs a devastating special attack on a 60-second timer. You’ll know it’s coming when a red, glowing orb forms at its center — this is the Dark Core Surge.

While channeling, any hits you land will increase its Dark Multiplier, displayed on-screen as “Dark Multiplier: ×#” (up to ×10). Once the charge completes, the Beast releases a massive burst explosion, dealing extreme AoE damage that scales with the multiplier.

💡 Tip: As soon as the orb begins to glow or the multiplier starts rising, cease attacking and back away immediately.

Getting caught in the burst can instantly wipe even top-tier mounts.

Maintain your distance during the surge, wait for the explosion to finish, then re-engage aggressively during its cooldown. Durable mounts like the Supreme Warden Reaper or Ultimate Havoc Rex are recommended for surviving incidental hits.

🏺 Drops

Upon defeat, the Beast of Darkness drops a Darkness Loot Box containing:

Standard loot and resources.

The highly sought Fragment of Darkness, used for crafting and final boss summoning.

T9 | ☯️ Beast of Oblivion

Summoned By: Eternal Gorilla

Taming Method: Consume a Challenger’s Eternal Banana before the fight; the Beast auto-tames at 10% HP.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy:

Aside from avoiding its powerful AoE attacks, be on high alert whenever a “Warning” prompt appears — this signals the Beast of Oblivion’s special tail jab.

If it connects, it will drain your HP, heal itself massively, and gain a heavy shield. The attack follows almost instantly after the warning and recurs on a 60-second timer, so be ready to move or dodge immediately when it appears.

Maintain distance during the animation and reposition before resuming DPS to prevent prolonging the fight through its self-heals.

🏺 Drops

Upon defeat, the Beast of Oblivion drops an Oblivion Loot Box containing:

Standard loot and resources.

Most importantly, the Fragment of Oblivion — a crucial component for summoning the Final Boss.

T9 | ⚡ Beast of Desperation

Summoned By: Galaxy Warchief

A massive flying boss with extreme durability and high evasion. Auto-tames upon defeat, granting ownership instantly.

The fight is significantly longer due to its mobility and immense health pool.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy:

A long tank n’ spank boss battle. Use your strongest tames.

🏺 Drops

Upon defeat, the Beast of Oblivion drops a Fragment of Desperation, the third piece of the Fragment Trio required to summon the Final Boss.

T9 | 🔥 Degenerate of Darkness

Seal Type: Fourth and Final Seal

Not tamable.

⚔️ Recommended Strategy:

A towering end-tier boss with an immense health pool and devastating one-shot fireball mechanic. Periodically, a massive fireball appears above its head for 30 seconds — when only 5–10 seconds remain, retreat immediately. The Degenerate will roar and erupt in a fiery explosion, instantly killing anything within its aura. Once the blast subsides, you can safely re-engage and continue the fight.

🏺 Drops

Upon defeat, the Degenerate of Darkness drops:

The Fragment of Desperation, the final fragment needed to summon the Final Boss.

The Degenerate Seal Armor, which can be equipped to your Beast of choice to greatly enhance its defensive capabilities.

🕓 Key Mechanics & Challenges

Fight only at night — daylight cancels the challenge.

Bosses periodically heal for 30M+ HP.

If multiple tames are present, difficulty scales and targeting can glitch.

These encounters represent the final combat trials of Ark Descended, reserved for only the most prepared survivors.

📌 Tips

Always initiate at nighttime.

Use open terrain to avoid hitbox issues.

Expect extended engagements — these are the hardest solo fights so far.

T10: 🕊️ Dream, the Primordial Descension

The final reckoning — the cycle completes, and only one reality remains.

Dream, the Primordial Descension, represents the ultimate confrontation — the culmination of every evolution, every essence, and every sacrifice.

This encounter tests not just raw power, but survival, adaptation, and endurance against time itself.

T10 | ⚔️ Encounter Mechanics

Corrupt Waves: Spawn every 6 minutes. Each wave grows stronger, summoning progressively more corrupted creatures.

Cloned Minions: Appear roughly every 5 minutes, replicating your tames’ strength and resistances.

Wipeout Ability: Dream uses a devastating full-area purge twice per fight — once at 60% HP and again at 20% HP.

Survivors and tames caught unprepared will be instantly annihilated.

Untamable/Tamable Seal Phases:

Untamable Phase: Standard boss mechanics with environmental hazards and wipe attacks.

Tamable Phase: Triggered post-victory in special arenas or events, allowing capture of Dream’s essence for unique evolutions and endgame crafting.

T10 | 🐉 Recommended Strategy

The Beast of Darkness is the most effective counter — its bite attack inflicts higher damage than fireballs once Dream’s HP drops below key thresholds.

Bring multiple top-tier tames (Best of Desperation) to rotate during wipe phases.

Manage cooldowns and buffs carefully between Corrupt and Clone waves — exhaustion or overextension before the 60% mark is a common cause of defeat.

Make sure you have your Degenerate Seal Armor equipped.

📌 Tip: Survive both wipeout phases before committing to your final assault. Once Dream’s HP drops below 15%, focus on burst damage — holding back risks another Corrupt wave spawning mid-finish.

═══════ Boss & Special Encounter Reference ═══════

Not every creature in Ark Descended can be tamed through standard knockout or passive feeding. Some require unique methods that break the usual rules. This section collects those special cases in one place for easy reference.

🦴 The Reaper Evo Path — From Descended to Supreme

The Reaper line in Ark Descended evolves through several distinct stages, each requiring unique mechanics, fights, or sacrifices. Unlike most creatures, Reapers are born through impregnation and progress via charge mechanics, tokens, and boss drops.

🦴 Descended Reaper Prince/Princess

How to Obtain: Fight a Descended Reaper Queen (wild or summoned via War Generator). Drop her below 10% HP and she will impregnate the player.

Important Note: If you have other dinos nearby for the Queen to aggro on, she will usually ignore impregnation and just kill you instead. Go in alone to ensure the impregnation mechanic works.

Result: After gestation, you give birth to a Reaper Prince or Princess (50/50 chance). Babies gain up to +75 bonus levels from kills while pregnant.

Notes:

Birth in a confined area to claim quickly.

Recommended mount: Descended Rock Drake. Keep your distance and use flame attack. Bring health & stimulant potions.

⚡ Charge-Adapted Reaper

How to Unlock: Feed 100 Luminous Essence while a Glow/Lantern Pet is active (light ON).

How to Evolve: Place Essence in inventory → activate via radial menu.

Result: Gains Charging Armor — a temporary shield requiring lantern pets to refresh.

Notes: High-tier Reapers rely heavily on Charging Armor, making glow pets essential companions.

🧟 Alpha Prince / Princess

How to Unlock: Kill a Charging Descended Reaper Queen to obtain the Queen’s Luminous Token unlock the Mega Reaper Token engram.

What “Charging” Means: A charging Descended Reaper Queen is simply a wild Reaper Queen with a light buff applied. You can identify it by the electricity effects sparking around its body.

How to Evolve: Craft the Charged Mega Reaper Token and feed it to your Charge-Adapted Reaper.

Result: Evolves into an Alpha Reaper, a Tier 3 equivalent creature, inheriting all previous stats and level-ups.

👑 Alpha King / Queen

How to Unlock: Defeat the Mega Reaper (War Generator summon) to obtain a Crown.

How to Evolve: Place the Crown into an Alpha Reaper’s inventory:

Prince + Crown → Alpha King

Princess + Crown → Alpha Queen

Result: Gains higher damage reduction, stronger offensive output, and enhanced Charging Armor.

💀 Primordial Reaper

How to Unlock: Defeat a Primordial Reaper (War Generator summon) to obtain the evo item.

How to Evolve: Sacrifice opposite genders (King + Queen) alongside a Primordial Crystallization (crafted in Descended Smithy).

Result: Evolves into a Primordial Reaper, one of the strongest Tier 4 creatures — capable of fighting T5–T6 bosses.

🛡️ Warden Reaper

How to Unlock: Summon and defeat a Warden Reaper to obtain its evo item and unlock its engram.

How to Evolve: Feed the evo item to a Primordial Reaper.

Result: Evolves into a Warden Reaper, a major defensive powerhouse.

🌌 Supreme Warden Reaper

How to Unlock: Perform Descension on a Warchief, and craft an Evo Core using the Descended Warchief Essence.

How to Evolve: Feed the Enhance Core to your Warden Reaper.

Result: Evolves into the Supreme Warden Reaper, the ultimate descension creature and pinnacle of the Reaper line.

🧊🔥 The Ice Titan Evo Path — Three Forms of Frost and Flame

The Ice Titan line in Ark Descended has only three true variants:

Descended Ice Titan

Degenerate Ice Titan

Flame / Lightning Ice Titan

Each stage is a massive leap in power, culminating in one of the strongest siege creatures in the mod.

❄️ Descended Ice Titan

How to Tame: Works like an Excellent Boss tame. Drop HP below 50% before torpor will apply, then knock it out with high-torpor weapons (compound bows or high-% sniper rifles). Feed to tame once KO’d.

Notes:

Can equip Advanced Excellent Boss Armor and the Unreal Evo Cube, making it an early powerhouse.

Excels at Beta Supply Drops thanks to bulk, scaling damage, and wave control.

🧟 Degenerate Ice Titan

How to Unlock: Defeat a wild Degenerate Ice Titan (millions of HP) to obtain the Degenerate Ice Titan Head.

Strategy: Use a powerful Infected flyer (like an Infected Celestial Wyvern) with a shield. Avoid its freeze attack, which can wipe tames.

Evolution: Craft the Degenerate Titan Evo Core using the Head + late-game materials, then consume it in your Descended Titan’s inventory.

Result: Evolves into the Degenerate Ice Titan, a Tier 4 equivalent with HP scaling into the millions and far greater melee output.

Kill Count Requirement: Must reach 1,000 kills (wild dinos +1, corrupted +2, T4 Ancients +10) before progressing.

Notes:

Excels at Alpha Supply Drops due to increased scaling.

🔥⚡ Flame / Lightning imbued Degenerate Ice Titan

Final Evolution: Once at 1,000 kills, craft the Final Evolution Coin (requires Legendary Dodorexy, Bionic Swords, and other rare mats). Feed it to your Degenerate Ice Titan.

Result:

50% chance to evolve into either:

Flame Ice Titan — fire breath, explosive fireballs, fiery stomps.

Lightning Ice Titan — lightning-charged abilities (details still incomplete but comparable in power).

Role: The final apex form of the Ice Titan line — a devastating siege tame that outclasses nearly everything else in raw destructive power.

Notes:

Excels at God Supply Drops due to increased scaling.

⚔️ Tip: Each stage demands heavy preparation. Stockpile mats, bring backup tames, and always prepare freeze counters before facing the Degenerate Titan.

🐉 Degenerate Managarmr Evolution

The Degenerate Managarmr is a powerful Tier 4 evolution of the Descended Managarmr, created through the use of a special Evolution Core. It represents a major leap in mobility, burst damage, and survivability within the Degenerate line.

🧬 Taming a Descended Managarmr

Find and knock out a Descended Managarmr using Tranq Darts or Rifles.

Tame it with Excellent Kibble — no hunger potions are required, as they eat rapidly once unconscious.

⚔️ Defeating the Degenerate Managarmr Boss

The Degenerate Managarmr Boss is summoned via the War Generator.

Bring a strong Tier 4 warfighter, such as an Infected Celestial Wyvern with a Shield or equivalent. Summon or kite to a tight spot to attempt to control it jumping around.

Rewards:

Degenerate Enhance Core (required for evolution)

High-tier armor pieces & resources

Power potions and miscellaneous loot

🔄 Evolving to Degenerate Form

Feed the Degenerate Evolution Core to your tamed Descended Managarmr to evolve it.

The evolution resets its level scaling to base, but retains all bred stats from its previous form — maximizing performance if fully bred beforehand.

Result: a newly forged Degenerate Managarmr, capable of freezing entire battlefields in seconds.

❄️ Deeply Degenerate Managarmr

The Degenerate Icejumper Enhance Core serves as a late-game upgrade, transforming the Degenerate Managarmr into a near-unstoppable force.

Crafted at: Descend Smithy

Key Requirements:

Degenerate Corrupt Hearts

Warchief Souls (Chaos + Order)

Combat Tributes (Red, Blue, Green)

Spectral Element, Havoc Orbs, Unreal Essence, and other T4+ materials

Result: Greatly enhances your Degenerate Managarmr, granting invincibility frames, burst speed, and massive damage amplification, unlocking its true endgame potential.

🔥 The Legendary Evo Path — Dodorexy to Ascension

The Legendary line is a structured path of evolutions that begins with the Alpha Dodorexy and culminates in the Alpha Trex Ascend, one of the strongest Tier 8 powerhouses.

⚙️ Note: Evolutions don’t carry over stats, but they do retain bred stat points. Breeding your dino for the highest possible base stats before evolving will maximize its final form’s potential.

🔥 Alpha Dodorexy

How to Obtain: Found in the wild; KO tame by feeding Devilish or Divine Essence.

Unique Drop: Killing an Alpha Dodorexy has a 50% chance to drop a Little Dodorex Egg.

Progression Requirement: Kill 25 wild Dodorexys.

Result: Becomes a Legendary Alpha DodoRexy permanently boosting your damage and defense.

The evolution resets its level scaling to base, but retains all bred stats from its previous form — maximizing performance if fully bred beforehand.

🦖 Alpha Trex

How to Unlock: Defeat the Legendary DodoRexy to unlock its engram and gain a Legendary Soul.

How to Evolve: Use the Legendary Soul with an Evo Core on a Legendary Alpha Dodorexy (must have completed the 25 Dodorexy kill requirement).

Result: Evolves into an Alpha Trex, equivalent to Tier 4. Gains access to the Legendary Raid System. Through raid progression, it can scale up to Tier 6.

🔥 Legendary DodoRexy Encounter

The Legendary DodoRexy unleashes a devastating ranged fire attack capable of melting weaker tames in seconds.

To survive, stay in close range at all times — this prevents it from using its ranged fire breath and limits its damage output.

Use your strongest Tier 5+ tanky creatures (Primordial Reaper or Ancient Evo Giga) — heavy hitters with high HP and strong armor are essential to endure its relentless onslaught.

💀 Phase Two:

When the DodoRexy reaches low health, it transforms into a stronger, evolved form with greatly increased damage, speed, and resilience.

There’s no pause between phases, so maintain pressure, manage your healing carefully, and finish the fight before it overwhelms you.

Drops & Rewards:

Provides coveted high-end crafting materials for Legendary recipes.

Ancient Legendary God Soul

Drops 40+ Ancient Token Clusters per kill, making it one of the best substitutes for farming them.

Random Warfare Key(s)

Harness the might of the Alpha T-Rex through the Legendary Challenge and turn every hunt into progression.

Activation:

Keep Legendary Essence in your Alpha T-Rex’s inventory to automatically trigger the Legendary Challenge buff (duration: 900s).

While active, any wild creatures within a 6000 range can spawn as Stalkers (maximum of 15 at once).

Killing Stalkers yields Stalker Dust, Legendary Materials, and bonus resources.

🔥 Extra Level-Ups via Legendary Essence

To gain bonus stats, ensure at least 5 Legendary Essence are present in the T-Rex’s inventory for every Stalker kill.

Stalkers gain health with each attack they land. Avoid big attacks to limit health regen.

Each kill automatically converts 5 Essence into stat points in Health or Melee, depending on the enemy type:

Raptor: +1 | Carno: +2 | Quetz: +3 | Rex: +4 | Wyvern: +5 | Legendary Drake Boss: +10

📌 Essence is consumed automatically — keep your inventory stocked to sustain bonus progression and maximize your T-Rex’s power curve.

💀 Legendary Drake Stalker Boss

After defeating 30 Stalkers during an active Legendary Challenge, the Legendary Drake Stalker Boss will spawn.

Once your health and melee stat points both reach 254 points each, you’ll officially be maxed out. Congratulations, the grind is over.

This formidable foe is the apex of the raid and serves as a milestone encounter for your Alpha T-Rex.

Unique Drops:

Unlocks Ascended Legendary Rex Tek Saddle engram

Legendary Rex Chibi

Specific Chibi that works only for Alpha Trex

functions as an upgrade to your Excellent Chibi, granting 25% Def & Dmg bonus and recovers 50k HP/s!

📌 Defeating the Legendary Drake not only rewards top-tier loot but also cements your Alpha T-Rex as a true endgame predator.

🦖✨ Alpha Trex Ascend

How to Unlock: Defeat the Legendary Drake Stalker Boss (spawns after 30 stalkers).

Unique Drops:

Unlocks Ascended Legendary Rex Tek Saddle Engram

Legendary Rex Chibi

How to Evolve: Equip the Ascended Legendary Rex Tek Saddle on an Alpha Trex with 254 Health and 254 Melee reached.

Result: Ascends into an Alpha Trex Ascend, reaching Tier 8 power. The saddle is permanent — it cannot be removed unless the Rex dies.

🦠 The Infected Evo Path — From Dimorph to Celestial Wyvern

The Infected Line begins at Tier 3 and provides a parallel power path alongside Legendary and Ancient evolutions. Each stage builds on the last, culminating in one of the most powerful aerial T4 siege creatures.

⚙️ Note: Evolutions don’t carry over stats, but they do retain bred stat points. Breeding your dino for the highest possible base stats before evolving will maximize its final form’s potential.

All Infected creatures share the passive ability Infected Defensive, which has a chance to completely nullify incoming attacks — making them durable, reliable, and dangerous in prolonged battles.

⚫ Infected Dimorph

How to Unlock: Summon the Infected Origin (Dimorph) via the Descend Smithy to begin the Infected path.

Result: A starter infected flyer that opens the line. Equivalent to Tier 2 entry level.

🟣 Infected Ptero

How to Evolve: Feed the Evo Core for Infected Dimorph to your Dimorph.

Result: Evolves into an Infected Ptero, granting improved aerial combat and mobility. Equivalent to Tier 2.

😇😈 Infected Argentavis

How to Evolve: Feed the Evo Core for Infected Ptero to your Ptero.

Result: Evolves into an Infected Argentavis, a high-tier T3 upgrade capable of handling bosses and supporting Lootboss/Supply Drop fights.

🛡️ Devilish Buff (Permanent Passive):

+50% Damage Resistance

+80% Damage Output

This buff makes the Argentavis one of the strongest Tier 3 creatures and a critical stepping stone toward the Celestial Wyvern.

🐉 Infected Celestial Wyvern

How to Unlock: Defeat the Infected Celestial Wyvern (summoned from the War Generator) to obtain its Soul, a required evolution item.

How to Evolve: Feed the Argent Evo Core (crafted using the Soul and other T4 boss materials) to your Argentavis.

Result: Evolves into an Infected Celestial Wyvern, a powerful Tier 4 aerial apex designed for Element Guardians and beyond.

Can be used effectively against most T5 bosses, making it a critical long-term investment.

🌌 Celestial Buff (Activated Ability):

⚔️ Massive Offensive Boost — greatly increases outgoing damage.

🛡️ Major Defensive Boost — greatly increases damage resistance.

🌀 The Ancient Evolution Line — From Raptor to Warden Giga

The Ancient Line unlocks at Tier 3, evolving through multiple apex stages. Each form is advanced using Evo Cores, boss drops, and unique sacrifices. Ancient creatures scale alongside Legendary and Infected lines, culminating in the Warden Giga, one of the strongest beings in Ark Descended.

⚙️ Note: Evolutions don’t carry over stats, but they do retain bred stat points. Breeding your dino for the highest possible base stats before evolving will maximize its final form’s potential.

🦖 Ancient Raptor

How to Unlock: Summon the Ancient Evo Origin (Raptor) via the Descend Smithy.

Result: A tamed Ancient Raptor, the entry point into the Ancient Line. Equivalent to Tier 2 entry level.

🐂 Ancient Carno

How to Evolve: Feed the Evo Core (Original Raptor) to your Ancient Raptor.

Result: Evolves into an Ancient Carno, maintaining Tier 2 equivalency with improved combat stats and survivability.

🌿 Ancient Theri

How to Evolve: Feed the Evo Core (Ancient Carno) to your Ancient Carno.

Result: Evolves into an Ancient Theri, an entry Tier 3 creature that begins requiring Devilish/Divine resources from T3 Bosses or Beta Supply Drops.

🐊 Ancient Spino

How to Evolve: Feed the Evo Core (Ancient Theri) to your Ancient Theri.

Result: Evolves into an Ancient Spino, equivalent to Tier 4, with massive scaling in damage and durability.

📌 Note: A strong Tier 4 warfighter, capable of taking on most Abyssal and Celestial Bosses, and serves as the bridge into Ancient Giga progression.

🦖 Ancient Evo Giga

How to Unlock: Defeat the Ancient Phantom (War Generator summon) to unlock the Spino Evo Core Engram.

 How to Evolve:

 Craft the Evo Core using:

🩸 Ancient Descended Gigant Soul (from Phantom)

🌌 Celestial Gigant Trophies (from Descended Celestial Gigant)

Then feed it to your Ancient Spino.

Result: Evolves into the Ancient Evo Giganotosaurus, a Tier 4 apex creature with access to Phantom Mode.

👻 Phantom Mode (Special Ability)

⚡ High Dodge Chance

💥 Increased Damage Output (~70% increase)

❤️ Massive HP Regeneration

🌀 Understanding Phantom Mode — Power at a Cost

Phantom Mode drastically amplifies the Ancient Giga’s damage output but comes with a steep stamina tradeoff. The stamina drain rate scales directly with the number of points invested into Melee, making higher-damage builds exponentially more demanding to sustain. Excessive investment can burn through your reserves in seconds.

Balancing Melee and Stamina is crucial to maintaining your uptime and maximizing total DPS across long fights.

⚙️Recommended Builds

Goal

Hybrid (Sustainable Damage)

Endurance / Sustain Build

40–45

If you’re chasing maximum burst DPS and don’t care about sustain, around 60 Melee will push Phantom Mode’s buffed attacks to nearly 4–5× your base damage, capable of melting the HP off bosses in seconds.

⚠️ However, stamina drain at that level can exceed 4,000 per second, meaning you’ll only be able to stay in Phantom for ~5 seconds before needing to disengage and recover.

🌌 Celestial Evo Giga

How to Unlock: Requires a Celestial Giga sacrifice.

How to Evolve: Bring a Celestial Giga to your Ancient Evo Giga and sacrifice it to trigger the final transformation.

Result: Evolves into the Celestial Evo Giganotosaurus, the ultimate form of the Ancient Line. Equivalent to an apex Tier 4 creature, rivaling other endgame evolution paths.

✨ Permanent Buffs

🛡️ Ancient Buff → Passive damage resistance.

🌌 Celestial Buff → Permanent Celestial power-up stacking with Ancient.

👻 Phantom Mode → Activated buff boosting dodge, regen, and damage boost.

💀 Warden Giga

How to Unlock: Requires defeating the Supreme Warden Giga to obtain the Warden Giga Legacy Engram.

How to Evolve: Craft the Legacy at the Descend Smithy and feed it to your Celestial Evo Giga.

Result: Evolves into the Warden Giga, a monumental step forward in the Ancient line’s evolution — boasting immense durability, increased resistance, and superior scaling.

🔱 Supreme Warden Giga

How to Unlock: Requires defeating Dream (Tier 8 Boss) and ascending any applicable Warchief to obtain an Ascended Warchief Essence.

How to Evolve: Craft the Warden Giga Intensify Core at the Descend Smithy and feed it to your Warden Giga.

Result: Evolves into the Supreme Warden Giga, the apex form of the Ancient line — fusing both divine resilience and apocalyptic power, capable of challenging even the Overseer itself.

📌 Summary:

The Ancient Line is a full evolutionary path from humble beginnings to one of the deadliest forces in Ark Descended. Each transformation demands escalating sacrifice, but the payoff — the Supreme Warden Giga — is unmatched in both power and prestige.

☠️ Poison Evolutions — DodoRexy, Wyvern & Drake

Certain Excellent Boss creatures — the Poison DodoRexy, Poison Wyvern, and Poison Rock Drake — can ascend into far more powerful forms through special evolution.

To evolve them:

Feed each their respective Evo Core (Poison).

These recipes require up to Tier 4 materials, including Celestial/Abyssal drops.

A key component is the Ascended Poison Drake’s Soul, obtained by defeating the Ascended Poison Drake, summoned through the War Generator.

💡 Tip: These evolutions drastically boost damage output and resistance, making them top-tier assets for Knocking Out dinos.

📦 Supply Drops

Overview:

Supply Drops are craftable defense events that scale with your progression tier. For Gamma Supply Drops, use Unique Tek, Descended Managarmr/Ice Titan, Purified, or Bionics (later game). Starting at Tier 3, you gain access to Beta Supply Drops. The waves of dinos that attack during Supply Drops deal reduced damage to Degenerate, Unique Tek, and Purified Evolved dinos, making these the best choices for defending drops efficiently.

📦 Note: Descended Ice Titans are exceptionally effective for defending Supply Drops — their massive AoE slam, high durability, and crowd-control abilities make them the safest and most efficient choice for clearing enemy waves quickly.

How They Work:

Activate the drop to begin a five-wave defense event.

Protect the beacon until all waves are cleared.

Loot becomes available after the final wave.
