ββββββββββββββ Progression Guide βββββββββββββ
π‘οΈGetting Started β Establishing Your Foothold
Your first steps in Primal Nemesis set the tone for your entire progression. Focus on establishing your core crafting base, gearing up for early hunts, and building the resource foundation youβll need for future tiers.
ποΈ Establish Your Foundation β Core Crafting Structures
Secure a safe starting base β whether on land or a mobile raft β and build these essential modded structures immediately:
π¨ Primal Forge β Smelts metal and alloys, crafting advanced ingots like Copper and Tin from metal nodes. Craft Zinc Ore here.
π See: How to Obtain Nickel Ore
π§ͺ Primal Cauldron β Brews custom potions, dyes, and consumables.
βοΈ Primal Bench β Crafts modded gear, kibble, and boss items.
πΎ Start Farming & Gathering Essentials
Set up basic farms and tame egg-laying dinos early β youβll need both for crafting various Kibble and other essentials.
π Crops to Grow: Citronal β’ Rockarrot β’ Savoroot
π₯ Eggs: Gather from common vanilla dinos to start Alpha Kibble production
π₯ Smelt Modded Ingots in your Primal Forge early. Theyβre used for:
Tools & armor
Advanced tranq ammo
Crafting later-tier items
π Pro Tip: Rafts make excellent early mobility platforms for farming and exploration β just beware of Alpha Leeds!
Loot System Overview
All dropped loot in Primal Nemesis can roll randomized stat bonuses. This includes armor, weapons, tools, saddles, rings, and dino totems. Items drop from Loot Bosses, quests, and wild dino kills. Higher tiers offer more stat slots and stronger numbers, while loot quality (Common through Ancient) affects the potential of each drop.
See the Advanced Loot System section in the FAQ for full details.
πΉ Alpha Rising
Your path to dominance in Primal Nemesis truly begins when you take on β and tame β your first Alpha-tier creatures. These powerful tames offer a game-changing proximity buff that boosts the damage and resistance of nearby dinos.
πΉ Gear Up & Hunt Your First Alphas
Before facing tougher prey, prepare your combat kit:
πͺ Weapons β Primal Spear, Bow, Tranq Arrows
π‘οΈ Tools & Utility β Armor, Parachutes, Grappling Guns
π― Target Early Alphas for vital materials:
π©Έ Alpha Blood β Essential for crafting Alpha-tier tranqs
πΎ Hide β Used for key survival items like the Primal Bed
Staying mobile and armed will let you take down these early powerhouses without risking everything.
π¦ Tame Your First Alpha Creatures
Once youβve crafted Alpha Kibble from your early egg farms, itβs time to secure your first Alpha tames:
π Flyers β Pteranodons for safe travel and map control
πΏ Gatherers β Trikes or Stegos to speed up berry gathering for kibble and potion production
πͺ Why Alphas Matter
Alpha Buff β Doubles damage output and damage resistance for all nearby dinos
Turns even mid-tier tames into formidable fighters
π Pro Tip: Keep your early Alphas close to your base defense force for maximum protection until youβre ready to push into Apex territory.
π‘οΈ The Alpha Boss
As you progress through the Alpha tier, your next major milestone becomes the Alpha Boss. This encounter serves as a key progression gate in Primal Nemesis. Defeating the Alpha Boss unlocks Apex Kibble, allowing advancement into higher-tier boss content, and also grants access to the Primal Incubator, where tameable tiered bosses can be crafted and raised.
The Alpha Boss is designed as your first true test in Nemesis boss progression. Expect a significant difficulty jump compared to standard Alpha creatures, and plan to bring a well-supported team to secure the kill.
β οΈ Two-Phase Boss Fight
The Alpha Boss encounter is a two-part fight. After summoning and killing the Alpha Boss, it will immediately respawn as a Skeletal Alpha Boss variant. This second form must also be defeated to fully complete the encounter and receive progression rewards. Be prepared to continue fighting without downtime between phases.
β No Fliers Allowed
Engaging most bosses in Primal Nemesis applies a Grounded Debuff to all fliers:
Disables flight movement
Disables special abilities
Prevents mounting interactions
π‘ Tip: Leave your fliers at home β theyβre useless in most boss fights.
π§ͺ Boss Fight Checklist
Before summoning the Alpha Boss:
π§ Craft the Summon β At the Primal Bench
ποΈ Choose Your Arena β Enclosed, safe, and free from unwanted adds
π¦ Equip Your Dino β With a good saddle and Alpha Health Potions
π Boss Rewards:
𦴠Boss Skull β Required for Apex-tier boss summons
Unlocks Apex Kibble
Skeletal Variants
After progressing through the Alpha tier, you'll encounter Skeletal variants of Alpha and Apex creatures. These are slightly stronger than their normal counterparts and require Boss Kibble to tame.
When harvested, Skeletal variants drop Keratin and Blood.
See the Creature Reference section for the full list of available Alpha Skeletal and Apex Skeletal variants.
π Apex Ascension
After mastering the Alpha tier, itβs time to push into the Apex tier and prepare for your next major boss battle. Apex creatures bring raw power and durability, making them essential for tackling the challenges ahead.
π¦ Advancing to Apex Tier
Target strong Apex creatures like Rexes and Spinos
Upgrade your roster gradually, replacing weaker Alphas with high-stat Apex tames
𧬠Breeding for Boss Killers
Hunt Wild Max Levels β Capture the best base stats you can find
Imprint Babies β Maximize bonus stats and performance
Prioritize Health & Damage β These are critical for boss DPS and survivability
π Alpha Buff Reminder: Keep a tamed Alpha in range during boss fights to grant double damage output and double damage resistance to all nearby allies β including yourself. This can cut kill times in half and drastically improve survivability.
πΉ Your First Boss Fight β The Apex Troll
The Apex Troll is your next entry-level boss encounter in Primal Nemesis, but donβt underestimate it.
Defeating this boss unlocks Elemental Kibble.
πͺΆ Apex Feather Farm β Before fully advancing to the next tier, It is a good idea to start up an Apex Feather Farm, Apex Feathers are a staple in mid to late game progression including kibble recipes. Currently, only Argy, Dodo, TerrorBird, and Archaeopteryx drop feathers. Apex dodoβs would be the easiest to start a farm up with.
πͺπ₯πΒ Elemental PathΒ βπ±πΒ
After defeating the Apex Troll, you unlock Elemental Kibble β your ticket into one of the most strategic phases of Primal Nemesis. The Elemental Tier revolves around exploiting strengths and weaknesses between elemental types, making planning and team composition critical.
π§ Mastering the Elements
Each Elemental type has its own unique traits and counters:
πͺStorm
π₯ Volcanic
π Hydro
β Frost
π± Nature
π Earth

Elemental Kibble
Elemental creatures drop their respective cores (e.g., Volcanic Core, Hydro Core, etc.).
In the Primal Cauldron, you can convert:
1 Core β 10 Essence of the same type
Elemental Essence is primarily used in crafting Elemental Kibble recipes, making it the key material for progression through this tier.
π§ Strategy Tip:
Pair different elemental tiers at your base for synergistic buffs:
Storm + Hydro = Power + Water
Earth + Nature = Crafting + Crops
Frost + Volcanic = Climate coverage
π± Nature Tier
Plant Species Nemesis
A powerful new defensive plant designed to protect your base by actively repelling threats.
Functionality
When struck, Plant Species Nemesis will chase away ALL creatures from your base
Extremely effective for area denial and base protection
Consumes fertilizer, and can be demanding without support
Placement Rules
Can only be planted in a Behemoth Crop Plot
Due to its size, it cannot be placed in smaller plots
How to Obtain
The seed drops from Nature dinos
Efficiency Tip
Placing a Nature dino near the plant will significantly reduce fertilizer consumption
β Boss Limitation
Plant Species Nemesis cannot be used against bosses
Palworld Mechanic:
Supercharges crop growth when kept at the base π±
Team Ability:
Activates a Healing AoE for all nearby allies
β€οΈ 10 foundation radius support!
Nature Dino Greenhouse Effect
Nature dinos provide a built-in greenhouse bonus that replaces the need for actual greenhouse structures.
Effect Strength: A Nature dino nearby will grant 150% greenhouse effect to your crops.
Replacement, Not a Stack: If you already have a full greenhouse structure (which normally gives 300%), the Nature dinoβs aura will override it and lower the effect back down to 150%.
Intended Use: Best used in areas or bases where you cannot build greenhouses, such as caves, open bases without glass, or when you want to save on resources.
Caution: Do not keep Nature dinos near your crops if you already have a greenhouse, or youβll lose the extra growth speed.
π Tip: Pair Nature dinos with mobile farming bases or remote outposts β they let you bring greenhouse-level efficiency (150%) anywhere in the world without construction.
β‘π₯π Defeat the Elemental Kaiju Bossesβπ±π
Towering Elemental Kaiju Bosses can be crafted at the Primal Bench and fought in any order β but make sure youβre prepared.
π‘οΈ Preparation Tips:
Fully saddled, healed tames
Stock up on Alpha Potions and Nature Potions for survivability
π Tips for Success:
Invest in taming and evolving your own Titans
Prioritize Health & Melee Damage for survival and DPS
Build a balanced team to counter all elemental types
Use Alpha proximity buffs to boost Elemental performance
π Boss Rewards:
𦴠Boss Skull β Required for next-tier boss summons
π± Elemental Fruit Seeds β Used for Kibble
π§ͺ Elemental Boss Essence
π Tame multiple variants of each elemental type for flexibility in future fights.
π±β‘ Grow Your Elemental Fruits β Enter the Bionic Tier π€
Once the Kaiju fall, plant your Elemental Fruit Seeds β this step is your gateway into the Bionic Tier, where egg-based kibble is no longer required. Conquering this tier unlocks Bionic Kibble.
πΏ Farming & Progression:
Grow Elemental Fruits to unlock Bionic taming
Set up blood farms using Nature and Earth creatures for crafting & summons
π€ Welcome to the Bionic Era:
Bionics offer durability, utility, and devastating AOE abilities
Keep gathering Elemental Fruits and blood to fuel your rise into late-game dominance
π Plasma | Ghost | Plague
Following the Elemental tiers is the next trio of Nemesis tiers that introduce corruption effects, unstable energy forms, and powerful spectral creatures.
These three tiers form their own internal interaction triangle:
Plague is strong against Plasma
Plasma is strong against Ghost
Ghost is strong against Plague
Each tier has unique behaviors and taming rules.

β‘ Plasma Tier
Creatures composed of unstable plasma energy.
Plasma beats Ghost
Plasma creatures are immune to any projectiles
Plasma creatures have a weakness against Plague
Tools added in the update:
Plasma Netgun (used for trapping Ghosts)
GhostBuster 9000 (Plasma-based KO tool)
β‘ Plasma Boss
Beware the Plasma Bossβs shieldβkeep your distance and dodge all incoming attacks.
Similar to the vanilla Overseer fight, the Plasma Boss can summon Minions to attack.
β οΈ Come fully preparedβthis boss has a huge health pool. Stock up on potions to survive the fight.
π» Ghost Tier
Spectral aquatic creatures with powerful nighttime advantages.
Ghost beats Plague
Ghost creatures are immune to any projectiles
Ghost creatures are immune to normal tranqs
Ghosts are extremely strong during the night
Ghosts can all fly out of the water
Taming requirements:
Plasma Netgun (to trap them)
GhostBuster 9000 (to knock them out)
π» Ghost Boss
The Ghost Boss is a flyer-only encounter.
Must be fought with flying creatures
Weak to Plasma
Ground tames are not viable
Designed as a Ghost Tier progression check
Ghosts are strongest at night
β οΈ Flyers required β non-flyer strategies will fail, make sure to have strong fliers the boss has a lot of health
β£οΈ Plague Tier
Creatures influenced by virulent corruption.
Plague beats Plasma
Plague creatures spread a plague virus on contact
The virus applies a short-duration damage-over-time debuff (lasting a few seconds)
βοΈ Bionic Evolution
Youβve entered one of the most powerful stages in Primal Nemesis β the Bionic Tier. Here, Ancient Tek creatures, elite bosses, and multi-phase endgame fights pave the way to your ultimate victory.
𧬠Ancient Tek Hunts
Begin by crafting and defeating Ancient Tek Dinos at the Primal Bench:
Stego β Orb
Rex β Hammer
Quetz β Eye

ποΈ The Scion of Darkness
π§ΏβοΈ The Final Bionic Boss
Defeating the Scion of Darkness unlocks the ultimate challenge β the Bionic God.Β
Advanced Mechanics:
At random times, spawns four towers in a square formation
Activates an impenetrable nullifying shield until towers are destroyed
β οΈ Important: This encounter should be spawned in an open area to prevent towers from generating in meshed or obstructed spots.
Tower Phase:
Boss becomes stationary, acting as a plasma-firing turret
Fires constant plasma bombardments across the battlefield
Towers must be destroyed to drop the shield and resume the fight
π Victory Conditions
Prepare a well-coordinated team with:
High DPS for the boss phase
Fast tower-breakers for the shield phase
Strong mobility to dodge plasma fire
π Tip: This is a demanding, multi-phase fight. Victory here marks your mastery of the Bionic Tier and solidifies your place at the top of the Nemesis food chain.
π Boss Rewards:
𦴠Bionic Boss Skull β Required for next-tier boss summons
π§ͺ Bionic Boss Essence
βοΈ New Unlock: Primal Bionic Forge
Defeating the Bionic God now unlocks the Primal Bionic Forge, an advanced smelting station required for refining Mithril and Gold into usable ingots. This forge is essential for progressing into late-game Nemesis crafting and structures.
ππ Divine Conflict
With Elemental and Bionic conquered, your next leap is into the Demonic and Celestial tiers. The key? Honey β and not the kind you find in a regular beehive.
π The Hunt for Honey
To craft Demonic and Celestial Kibble, hunt down Demonic Bees and Celestial Bees in the wild. These are aggressive, boss-tier enemies disguised as flying nightmares.
Come Prepared With:
Strong Bionic-tier tame for tanking and damage
Fabricated Sniper Rifle for long-range support
High-tier Bionic+ Tranqs for quick knockouts
β οΈ Warning: These bees hit hard β bring your best gear or prepare to respawn.
π Two Paths to Victory
Full Assault β Let your Bionic-tier dino kill the bee directly.
Tranq and Finish β Knock out the bee with high-tier tranqs, then finish it for a safer kill.
π― The Reward: Both methods yield 2 Honey β enough for your first Demonic Kibble and Celestial Kibble at the Primal Cauldron.
π‘ One Demonic and one Celestial tame will break you into the next power tier.
π Tame Your First Bees
Hunt another Demonic Bee and Celestial Bee β but this time, KO and tame them.
Once tamed:
Convert them into a Beehive via radial menu
Insert Celestial or Demonic Flowers for passive honey production
Pro Tip: Tame as many variants as possible β each has unique abilities, and some are game-changers.
Notable Tames:
Demonic Griffin β Pure destruction
Celestial Argentavis & Demonic Wyvern β Excellent for blood/hide farming
Celestial Phoenix β Unmatched speed
βοΈ Fight the Demonic & Celestial Bosses
Once your elite tames are ready, challenge the Demonic and Celestial Bosses β the true gatekeepers of mid-to-late game power.
Boss Fight Prep:
Bring strongest Bionic/Demonic/Celestial creatures with high-quality saddles & imprints
Stockpile Alpha Health Potions and Nature Buffs
Use Alpha Buffs mid-fight to tip the balance
π‘ These bosses are a milestone test of breeding, prepping, and strategy. Defeating them unlocks the Godly Tier β the most powerful creatures yet.

π Boss Rewards:
π§ͺ Godly Boss Essence
π Godly Boss Skull
π This Isnβt the End:
Beating Nemesis signals the end of early-game Primal Nemesis β but thereβs more coming. Expect new mechanics, future bosses, and deeper systems in updates and expansions.
π¬ Stay alert, survivor. Your God-tier journey is just beginning.

Loot Bosses
Loot Bosses are rare enemies that spawn naturally in the wild across all tiers β Alpha, Apex, Elemental, and Bionic. Defeating them rewards treasure chests, tame helpers, and other valuable items.
How to Find Them
Loot Bosses project a red beam into the sky, similar to a supply drop. When attacked, the beam disappears to signal that another player is engaged with that boss.
Loot System
Loot Bosses now drop items directly into their inventory instead of on the ground
Each tier of Loot Boss drops items specific to that tier
Loot Bosses can no longer be upgraded to a higher tier
Treasure Chest Types
Saddle Treasure Chests
Weapon Treasure Chests
Charm Treasure Chests
Utility Treasure Chests
Tools Treasure Chests
Armour Treasure Chests
Tame Helpers
Tame Helpers speed up the taming process. A basic Tame Helper (x10) can be crafted in the Primal Cauldron. Stronger versions are exclusive drops from Loot Bosses:
Tame Helper | Source |
x10 | Crafted in Primal Cauldron |
x50 | Loot Boss drop |
x100 | Loot Boss drop |
x250 | Loot Boss drop |
Quests
There are now multiple quest types available, not just a single Common Key Hunting Quest.
π― Key-Focused Quests
Classic key quests (such as the Common Key Hunting Quest) still exist.
Keys from these quests are used to open Nemesis treasure chests.
πΎ Common Resource Quests
New βcommonβ resource quests can now trigger simply by killing creatures.
When a quest is started, a dedicated quest UI will pop up and clearly show your current objective.
These quests are focused on gathering and farming basic resources rather than boss progression.
π High-Level Quests from Loot Bosses
The new Imposter lootbosses (Alpha, Apex, Elemental, Bionic) can drop high level quests along with treasure keys.
These quests are tied to more advanced rewards and should be treated as late-game progression content.
π§ General Tip
Quest scrolls must be consumed from a dinoβs inventory.
The quest UI is only visible and usable while riding that specific dino.
βοΈ Elemental Utility TiersβοΈ
Elementals in Primal Nemesis aren't just for combat β they come with base utility, passive buffs, and team abilities inspired by Palworld-style mechanics.
Β Only the Volcanic Anky currently has advanced functions like smelting.
π§ Hydro Tier
Palworld Mechanic:
Gains a water buff while swimming and can store water.
Use it to hydrate yourself or water your crops!
Passive Buff:
Slower oxygen drain when underwater π
π©οΈ Storm Tier
Palworld Mechanic:
Acts as a generator when placed at your base β‘
Great for off-grid survival or powering stations.
π₯ Volcanic Tier
Palworld Mechanic:
Cooks meat inside their inventory automatically.
Anky in this tier functions as a mobile forge π οΈ
Passive Buff:
Nearby players become resistant to extreme heat βοΈ
βοΈ Frost Tier
Palworld Mechanic:
Preserves food in their inventory β like a living fridge π§
Passive Buff:
Nearby players gain resistance to extreme cold βοΈ
πͺ¨ Earth Tier
Palworld Mechanic:
Boosts crafting speed when near your base.
Team Ability:
Unleashes a Rock Shield AoE for all nearby allies
π‘οΈ 10 foundation radius protection!
πͺ¨ Nemesis Resource Ores Overview
Several important ores are now required for crafting, taming, and late-game Nemesis structures. Different ores come from different sources, with some tied to specific bosses or events.
This section explains how to obtain:
Nickel Ore
Starfire Metal
Mithril Ore
Gold Ore
πͺ¨ How to Obtain Nickel Ore
Nickel Ore is required for crafting and taming with modded content.
Source: Resource Rock Golem (found in the wild)
Method:
Hover above a Resource Rock Golem with a flying mount to bait it into spawning Minions.
Defeat and harvest the Minions using a Modded Dino (such as a Rex).
Afterward, kill and harvest the Resource Rock Golem itself with the Modded Dino such as an Apex Rex.
Note: Modded Tools are currently bugged for this method, so Modded Dinos are recommended.
Tame a Resource Rock Golem for Unlimited Nickel!
Tip: Look for Resource Rock Golems that show "Can be tamed with Modded Ore"βthese are the ones you need to drop Nickel Ore.
How to Tame:
Use a Griffin to hover above and shoot straight down with a Rocket Launcher, aiming for the head.
Alternatively, trap and use a Cannon to deal Torpor.
Mods like Captain Reptileβs Cannon can help.
Once tamed, equip a saddle and use its ability to spawn your own Minions. You can kill and harvest these for Nickel!

Nickel Ore is essential for advanced progressionβbe prepared to farm multiple Resource Rock Golems to get enough for your needs.
π₯ How to Obtain Starfire Metal
Starfire Metal comes from Starfire Meteors summoned by the DemiGod StarFire Resource Golem.
Source: Meteor strikes during the DemiGod StarFire Golem fight
How it works:
When fighting a Resource Rock Golem, there is a 25% chance it will respawn as a DemiGod StarFire Golem
During the fight, the DemiGod will periodically summon meteors
Harvest these meteors to obtain Starfire Metal
Each meteor lasts 7 minutes before disappearing
Tip:
The meteor ability fires every 3 minutes β keep the DemiGod alive to farm multiple waves.
βοΈ How to Obtain Mithril Ore
Source: Starfire Meteors (from the DemiGod StarFire Golem)
Method:
Identical to Starfire Metal:
Fight the DemiGod StarFire Golem
Harvest the meteors as they fall
Meteors contain Mithril Ore alongside Starfire Metal and Gold
πͺ How to Obtain Gold Ore
Source: Starfire Meteors (from the DemiGod StarFire Golem)
Method:
Harvest the meteors during the DemiGod fight
Gold Ore is one of the guaranteed drops alongside Starfire and Mithril
π₯ Refining Mithril & Gold β Primal Bionic Forge Required
Mithril Ore and Gold Ore can only be smelted in the Primal Bionic Forge.
Power Requirements:
Storm Essence, or
Volcanic Essence, or
A nearby Storm creature
The forge unlocks when you defeat the Bionic God.
π‘ Farming Tip
The meteor ability fires every 3 minutes.
If you keep the DemiGod alive without killing it, you can farm multiple meteor waves before finishing the fight.
This makes the DemiGod one of the most efficient methods for gathering the new ores introduced in this update.
How to get Rice | Kelp | Sushi β How to Explore the Ocean
So you want to explore the ocean? Youβll need Sushi first! Hereβs how to get started:
1. Get a Berry Gatherer
Good options include: Trikes, Brontos, and Parasaurs
Find and gather from Berry Bushes to collect Rice and Sea weed seeds β these are your key sushi ingredients!

π± Plant them ASAP in your greenhouse for steady harvests.
π Aquatic Crop Plot
Purpose:
Allows placement and growth of aquatic crops or any future water-bound plant systems
Can only be placed in water.
This becomes important as Nemesis expands its plant and resource systems in future patches.
2. Hunt for Prime Fish Meat
You have β
ingredients for sushi; now you need Prime Fish Meat.

Only larger sea creatures drop it β not sharks or smaller fish!
Best targets to harvest (using Pickaxe or Chainsaw):
Basilosaurus
Deinosuchus
Shastasaurus
Mosasaurus
β οΈ Prime Fish Meat does NOT stack! Plan accordingly.
3. Craft Sushi in the Primal Cauldron
Combine your Prime Fish Meat, Rice, and Kelp in the Primal Cauldron to craft sushi.
Note: The Cauldron only holds 50 items, so factor in the non-stacking Prime Fish Meat when crafting.
π£ Enjoy your sushi and get ready to explore the ocean with your Atlantic and Pacific tames!
Charms & Totems
Charms have been reworked into a randomized stat system. Dino Totems replace the old Dino Charms, and Player Rings replace the old player charms. Instead of fixed bonuses, all enhancers now roll a value within a range when obtained β two items of the same type can have different strength levels.
How to Equip
Item Type | Equip Slot |
Player Rings | Offhand slot |
Dino Totems | Costume slot |
Player Ring System
Rings are modular equipment that allow you to insert charms for customized buffs. Rings come in several tiers:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Godly
Common rings start with a single charm slot. Each tier up adds additional capacity. Charms are collected separately and inserted into the ring of your choice, giving you full control over your loadout.
Higher-tier rings require materials found from lootbosses or bosses designed to support this system.
Enhancer Types
Enhancer | Player | Dino | Effect |
XP | β | β | Increases experience gain |
Weight | β | β | Increases carrying capacity |
Water | β | β | Reduces water drain |
Timestop | β | β | Stops time briefly when triggered |
Speed | β | β | Increases movement speed |
Jump | β | β | Increases jump height |
Healing | β | β | Gradual health regeneration |
Fall Damage | β | β | Reduces fall damage |
Dodge | β | β | Chance to evade incoming damage |
Gravity | β | β | Reduces gravity for higher jumps |
Crafting | β | Reduces crafting time and cost
Heat | β | Reduces heat effects
Baby | β | Affects baby growth and maturation |
Where to Find Them
Wild drops
Loot drops
Nemesis encounters
Higher-tier content has better chances of dropping stronger rolls.
Defensive Structures & Crop Plots
πΊ Behemoth Crop Plot (NEW)
A massive crop plot required for growing Plant Species Nemesis.
Notes:
Standard, large, and greenhouse crop plots are too small
Only the Behemoth plot supports the size and root spread of Plant Species Nemesis
Use these for any oversized plants added in future Nemesis updates.
ποΈ Luxury Marble Structures (Godly Structure Set)
A new handcrafted building set has been added: the Luxury Marble Structure Set.
These structures are considered Godly-tier, though they are purely architectural and cosmetic rather than combat functional. The set is large, elegant, and visually distinctβintended for high-end bases, temples, or prestige builds.
Despite the quality and detail, this entire structure set is included freely within Nemesis and not a separate premium mod.
Key Notes:
Listed under βGodly Structuresβ in your crafting stations
Contains a full suite of build pieces (walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and decorative options)
Crafted through standard structure crafting stations (no unique bench required)
Designed as a high-end prestige building style for late-game bases
Use these when you want your Nemesis base to stand out visually or match the divine aesthetic of the Godly tier.
βοΈ Primal Bionic Forge
π₯ What the Forge Can Smelt
The Primal Bionic Forge is the only workstation that can refine:
Mithril Ore β Mithril Ingots
Gold Ore β Gold Ingots
These high-tier metals are used in end-game crafting, advanced structures, and boss-related upgrades.
β‘ Power Requirements
The forge does not run on standard fuel.
Instead, it must be powered using one of the following:
Storm Essence
Volcanic Essence
A nearby Storm creature (its presence acts as a power source)
This ties the forgeβs operation into elemental energy rather than traditional resources.
𧩠Progression Purpose
The Primal Bionic Forge represents the next technological jump after the Primal Incubator. Once you have:
Farmed Starfire Meteors for Mithril and Gold
Processed the ores using the Bionic Forge
Gathered Essences from Elemental, Bionic, Demonic, and Celestial bosses
β¦youβll have the materials needed for high-end Nemesis items, defensive structures, charms, and late-tier bosses.
π§ͺ Primal Incubator
A major progression workstation has been introduced: the Primal Incubator.
This structure allows you to craft and incubate your own tameable tiered bosses, giving players direct access to boss tames that were previously only obtainable as wild encounters.
The Incubator becomes essential for mid-to-late game Nemesis progression.
What You Can Make Here:
Alpha Tameable Boss
Apex Troll (Tameable Version)
Bionic God (Tameable Version)
Celestial Hydra (Tameable Version)
Demonic Lucifer (Tameable Version)
Titan Eggs (moved here from the Primal Bench)
Each of these bosses functions as a true tame, giving you access to extreme damage, utility abilities, and late-game farming potential.
Apex Bosses require the Alpha Boss Skull to summon or craft.
π₯ Titan Egg Update
Titan Eggs have been moved out of the Primal Bench and are now exclusively found inside the Primal Incubator.
βοΈ Crafting Notes
The Incubator relies on materials obtained from boss fights, lootboss upgrades, and the new resources introduced in this update. Expect to gather:
Boss Essences (Elemental, Bionic, Demonic, Celestial, etc.)
High-tier modded materials
Pixie items (for breeding enhancement, introduced later in the update)
β¨ Pixies (NEW Support Creatures)
A new support tier has been introduced: Pixies. These creatures are not rideable, but they provide powerful breeding-related benefits that make them extremely valuable in mid-to-late game progression.Β
Three Pixie species are currently available:
Pixie Bulbdog
Pixie Jerboa
Pixie Otter
Pixies specialize in improving various aspects of creature breeding. While equipped with a Pixie Orb, they can enhance several reproductive processes. Depending on the quality of the orb, the Pixie can grant higher chances for improved outcomes.
Pixies can provide the following types of boosts:
Increased egg hatching rate
Reduced mating cooldown
Increased baby growth speed
Higher chances for twins
Additional hidden reproductive bonuses
Pixie Orbs can be found in the wild or obtained from lootbosses. Higher-quality orbs strengthen the Pixie's support capabilities, making them useful even at the top of Nemesis progression.
Pixies function as passive companions. Equip the orb directly to the Pixie to activate its effects and place the Pixie near your breeding setup to benefit from its boosts.
πΏ How to Tame a Titan (Yes, You Really Can!)
Once youβve finished the Elemental Tier, youβll have the opportunity to hatch and raise your own Kaiju Whelpling β the first step toward taming a Titan.
𧬠Step-by-Step Guide:
Defeat the Corresponding Elemental Boss
Each Elemental Boss (e.g., Earth, Storm, Volcanic) summon is crafted from an Elemental Incubator Engram. These Elemental Incubators are crafted in the Primal Incubator.
Defeating the respective boss unlocks its Elemental Incubator Engram.
Youβll also need the Boss Skull dropped from the fight β itβs part of the recipe to craft a Whelpling.
Hunt a Wild Elemental Youngling
These roam the map and are tied to the elemental type you're pursuing. They cannot be crafted or summoned.
When killed, they automatically drop an Elemental Heart into your inventory β this is the second required ingredient for crafting a Whelpling.

β οΈ WARNING: Younglings Hit HARDER Than Elemental Bosses
If youβre still in the Elemental Tier, be prepared β these fights are no joke. Come fully geared, bring your best tames, and donβt underestimate them!
π§ͺ Step 3: Place Your Incubator Strategically
Now that you have the Incubator, Boss Skull, and Elemental Heart, itβs time to get ready for your Titan hatch.
Most players place two Incubators:
One at their base (for safely checking recipes β DO NOT USE THIS ONE to hatch!)
One in the open area where they plan to summon and tame the Titan.
Titans spawn immediately from the Whelpling craft, so you want to be fully prepared with your tame zone secured and cleared.

πΌ Step 4: Prepare for Hatch and Tame Your Whelpling
Once youβve gathered all the materials, itβs time to bring your Kaiju Whelpling into the world!
What Youβll Need:
π« Tranq Bullets (high-tier recommended)
π Extra Kibble β Make sure you have the Elemental Variant Kibble matching the Whelplingβs type (e.g. Earth Kibble for Earth Whelpling)
β οΈ IMPORTANT:
The Whelpling spawns as a wild creature β do NOT summon it inside your base or any area you care about. It can and will destroy structures during the fight.
β Place the Incubator in a safe, open space where you can:
Knock it out safely
Keep it contained
Tame without interruptions
π― When you're ready, craft the Whelpling from the Incubator β then knock it out and feed it kibble to claim your very own baby Kaiju!
Starts as a baby/juvenile version of the titan.

𧬠Tameable Titan Evolutions
Tameable Titans have a unique evolutionary progression that mirrors their boss counterparts β and ultimately surpasses them.
- Use the evolution item in the Whelpling's inventory to evolve into a Youngling.
- Younglings then evolve into Adult Titans with additional special materials.
- Each evolution stage increases strength, grants new abilities, and improves utilityΒ
π£ Titan Youngling Evolution
Similar in strength to the wild, roaming variant.
Must be evolved using special materials from its inventory.
Offers decent utility, but lacks full boss-level abilities.
πͺ Titan Adult Evolution
Once evolved, the titan will gain ALL the special attacks from its boss variant.
Ideal for boss fights, massive AOE clearing, or territory control.
ββββββββββββ β FAQ & Player Tips ββββββββββββ
Q: How do dinos spawn?
A: Modded creatures "piggyback" from vanilla dino spawns.
For example, a vanilla Argent spawning might result in a Alpha Argent or Apex Argent instead.
Q: How do I get unfertilized eggs for kibble?
A:Β
Set layegginterval to 0.3 in GAME INI
Ensure dinos are mate boosted (1 male + females)
Disable mating (unfertilized eggs needed)
Use an OviRaptor with egg-boost buff
Stay in render range (unless using a mod)
π This is essential for kibble-based progression. Refer to this anytime egg production slows down.
Q: Why aren't modded dinos spawning?
A: Move the mod to 1st/top of mod order, then perform a dino wipeΒ
Q: Can we take modded dinos into boss arenas?
A: If their vanilla counterpart can enter, the modded version also can.
Sidenote: Due to size changes as you go up the tiers, some dinos will become too large to enter the tek cave, like the elemental rexes.
Q: How to tame Alpha & Apex Bosses
A: Special Kibbles Required:
Alpha Bosses require Alpha Boss Kibble
Apex Bosses require Apex Boss Kibble
Essence Source:
Alpha Boss Essence drops from killing Alpha Bosses
Apex Boss Essence drops from killing Apex Bosses
Crafting:
Both Alpha and Apex Kibbles are crafted in the Primal Cauldron using their respective essences, along with standard kibble ingredients.
Progression Tip:
Farm the bosses first for their essence, then craft the kibble before attempting to tame. This loop ensures you have the materials ready and makes taming smoother.
Q: Colossal & Pygmy Traits
A: Both Colossal and Pygmy dinos are special Nemesis variants with distinct advantages.Β
Shared Traits
Faster movement.
Increased melee damage.
Colossal
Higher stats across the board (health, stamina, melee).
Suited for tanking and brute strength.
Pygmy
Smaller, but gain a 10% chance to dodge incoming attacks.
Effective at surviving longer fights through lucky dodges.
How to Obtain
These traits can be applied like other Nemesis traits (via trait items).
They can also appear randomly through breeding, with offspring sometimes inheriting Colossal or Pygmy traits naturally.
Q: Why canβt I track or locate any dinos with the Primal Gene Tracker?
A: The Primal Gene Tracker is only used for transferring traits. It doesnβt track like Bobβs Tall Tales version.
Q: How does the different Quality ranking work?
A: A new set of item quality ranks has been introduced to replace the vanilla system. These ranks now define the strength, rarity, and potential of Nemesis gear and are used across weapons, armor, saddles, tools, and various special items.
The updated quality progression is as follows:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Divine
Ancient
Divine serves as the new high-end quality tier above Legendary, offering significantly stronger stats and bonuses.
Ancient is a unique, top-level rarity that is only obtainable through quests. Items at this tier represent some of the most powerful equipment available in Nemesis and cannot be acquired through normal drops or crafting paths.
These new ranks fully replace the old vanilla quality colors, ensuring that Nemesis gear follows its own structured progression from early-game through end-game loot.
Q: What are the new dino traits?
A: Several new creature traits have been added to Nemesis. These traits can appear on specific wild creatures and dramatically affect their behavior in combat or survival situations. Each trait provides a unique twist and may require different strategies depending on how you engage the creature.
Nuclear
Creatures with the Nuclear trait build up an internal timer when they become aggressive or take damage. If the timer reaches zero, the creature detonates in a massive nuclear explosion. When tamed, the same trigger occurs if the creatureβs health drops below ten percent.
Volatile
Volatile creatures explode on death. This applies to both wild and tamed versions. Handle carefully to avoid splash damage or unexpected chain reactions.
Nightmare
Creatures with the Nightmare trait gain doubled stats during the night. They become significantly more dangerous in darkness and are best engaged during daylight hours.
Nighthunter
These creatures become extremely aggressive at night. Their aggro range increases substantially, and they will actively seek out players or other targets once night falls.
Chunky
A Chunky creature has increased harvest health, meaning it yields more materials when harvested. This trait is beneficial for farming when found on creatures that drop useful resources.
These traits enhance the variety and unpredictability of Nemesis wildlife. Some are helpful, some dangerous, and some depend entirely on the time of day or combat situation.
Q: How do you get armor?Β
Armor sets are available for each progression tier. Each tier includes full sets of:
Cloth
Desert Cloth
Hide
Flak
Fur
Ghillie
Riot
Scuba
Available Tiers
Alpha
Apex
Earth
Frost
Nature
Volcanic
Storm
Hydro

How to Obtain
Source | Tiers Available | Stats |
Primal Bench (crafted) | Alpha, Apex | No bonus stats |
Loot Bosses | Elemental and above | Randomized bonus stats |
Wild dino drops | Matches dino tier | Randomized bonus stats |
Quests | All tiers | Randomized bonus stats |
Crafted armor from the workbench has no special stats. Armor from Loot Bosses, quests, or wild drops will have randomized bonuses and is significantly more valuable.
Q: How does the Advanced Loot System work?
All dropped loot can roll randomized stat bonuses β similar to loot systems in MMOs. Effects vary by item type and can include things like increased speed, damage, reduced elemental damage, or luck bonuses.
Stat Slots by Tier
Higher tiers unlock more stat slots and stronger numbers.
Tier | Stat Slots | Number Range |
Alpha | 2 | Low |
Apex | 3 | Medium |
Elemental | More | Higher |
Plasma/Ghost/Plague | More | Higher |
